I wonder......
Have you read it Bama???
If I had read it before, perhaps I wouldn't have gotten tangled up in that "French Smurf" conspiracy.......

So I got this box tonight from a friend... could be rosewood...under all the velvet.... not sure. Haven't opened it to see if there's a cryptex inside or not..... Will probably just sell it in my next yard sale cause I don't want any of the trouble Robert and Sophie had...
Glad you finished it macca!!!!
That was one rough 24 hours those two had wasn't it????
SOOOOOO..... who's hand is that in the Last Supper Pic??? The one holding the knife??? Where is the 13th male dinner guest if one of them is indeed Mary Magdalene???
hmmmmmm????

So are we each on our own private search?♥♥♥
Actually, I was always a step ahead of the plot and hoping I was wrong..... It wasn't as deep as I expected, although I enjoyed it.♥♥♥

Yea well I THOUGHT Iwas always one step ahead of the plot too macca... but I was wrong wrong wrong! (as usual)
I had the french cop guy pegged as "The Teacher" and the guy from the Swiss Bank (the one who drove the armored truck and smuggled them out of the bank) was gonna be the Saunier's successor in the secret society... figured that's why he had such an interest in getting the box back....
See, I'm bothered that there weren't 4 guys standing ready to take over the guarding of the secret.
I like to have all the loose ends tied up with a neat little bow.
I loved the grandmother/brother twist. Didn't see that coming.
I am such a dummy sometimes.

Hey, Crackah! Yeah, I thought the author did a good job of sending messages to try to confuse you... I just meant that after I had zeroed in on a theory I kept hoping I'd be proven wrong.... I didn't figure things out REAL early and then muddle through.... And I didn't get the brother/grand mere connection until she remembered being there and grand pere saying a sad goodbye to the person at the cottage. Then the boy said he and his grandmother lived there....
I knew "Sophia" was a word for wisdom (although I didn't think thru the 5-letter deal) and "apple" was a quick one too..... ♥♥♥

Yea, I got "apple" pretty quick too. Thought I'd figured it out before they did, but come to find out ol' Robert had it figured out all along.....

Pappy figgered the Teacher was either the cop or Sir Leigh. I thought the butler would tarn out to be a inside man fer the order or somethin'.
I kept tryin' to make anagrams an' such out of the names to see if they revealed somethin'. Sir Leigh sounded like "surly" as in dark an' ominous but I didn't see anything with Teabing except "beating" and "a big ten". Unless "Tea" was supposed to mean the letter "T" as in "Teacher" and "bing" the sound of the light bu'b o' recognition goin' off. It seemed like too weird a name not to have some other reason fer bein'.
Pappy also tried makin' a anagram outta my name to see what it might reveal. The best I could do was "fat p-p-pay" which must be the sound of Pappy stutterin' about a fat lottery payday or else closin' another big land deal. Hee hee!
Gotta get to work now...

Well... I tried my best with that anagram thing and I couldn't make a dang thing sensible out of Cracker Jax. Not enough vowels.
Of course you only had two "A's" to work with so I shouldn't complain.
Have at it Pappy.... Here are the letters....C-R-A-C-K-E-R-J-A-X. Good luck!

Tickets aren't but $90 each.
