Well, let's see now.

If the road rage-o-meter said 100, that would mean everybody is ragin, and I don't think that's true.  Got a pretty mellow crowd in this town.

If it said 0, that would mean nobody is ragin, don't think that's true either, bound to be a few hotheads out there, even if they're not talkin' to us.

So the Road-Rage-O-Meter will start out at 5%, because it seems 95% of the drivers I saw today were doin' OK.........will adjust accordingly as the stories come out.  Everyone is free to challenge this rating.  I had a 5% day today.

BTW, Skiddles dawg is in the 95% percentile, cause I think she's cool !!

OH STEVE!  We need an adjective that starts with "V" so your RROM can be a VRROM!

I rode down Battleground/ 220 from 158 all the way to target/petsmart today. So you KNOW I had a little bit of road rage. haha.

P.S. yesterday, I was coming the other way on Battleground and made some old lady have to turn onto OLD Battleground because she did not know the lane ended. I just kinda slowed down enough so that I knew she would be stuck over there. Of Course it was mean but it kinda made me laugh. I was really hoping she would run over the signs on the island.

We experienced very little road rage on our trip, although a couple of idiots did pull out in front of us along the way. Fortunately, Macca is an excellent driver! Also, just scored a perfect posting.... Check it out! My name is on all...

Okay, so I've got some real "Road Rage" to express.... I've touched on it before, but these instances occurred within 2 minutes this morning....

I was taking my youngest to school this morning. I'm sitting at the stop sign, with my left turn signal on. The intersection requires a quick left then there is another intersection, requiring another turn. To get to the school, I turn right.

So, I'm waiting at the first stop sign, watching traffic so I know when I can proceed. I know from prior experience that I have to watch traffic, not turn signals.... If I had paid attention to turn signals, I would've been t-boned by an SUV that turned without signalling. After it passed by, I pulled out to the second stop sign, where I put on my right turn signal and waited and watched. Again, an SUV is coming, so I wait. Again, no turn signal.... but he turns anyway. This time, I could've already been out in the road and on my way, but I trusted that he wasn't going to turn so I didn't pull out in front of him.

What is it about not giving a turn signal???? Do they just do this (or rather NOT do this!) to torment me??? AUUUUGGGGHHHHH!

So, I could've been killed by the first one if I'd paid attention to his lack of signal or making faster progress to my destination by ignoring the second..... Good thing I am a defensive driver!

Yeah that is dangerous. Especially at that kind of stop.

Oooh. I really do appreciate the city turning off the red light cameras. I had forgotten how annoying/dangerous they were until yesterday afternoon on Battleground. I appreciated them being off 3 times.

Macca, I believe we had a similar experience this morning. I was ready and prepared to share with everyone when I got home, but you beat me to the punch. Glad everything turned out alright with you. Anyways, I don't know what it is with people not signaling either. ??

What happened to me is...I also was taking my children to school. I was stopped at an intersection, waiting to take a left turn onto the main road. I waited at the stop sign until the coast was clear. An reproaching car seemed to be going fast, but not really fast enough for the speed limit on that road ... humm, I waited to turn, not really sure what this driver was doing.... maybe not enough of Java or something??? Being on the defensive side I did wait, then she started to turn. It was a pretty high school aged girl with blond hair which turned without signalling. Then OMG,... I was thinking... she cuts the corner in her turn and just abouts clips my car. What was she thinking, I asked myself! It really doesn't take much to flip on you signal light and let people know what your intentions are.

Buckle up and please use your turn signals!

OK, I give up, it's your deep dark secret.

You're back in one piece, so it must have been a good trip.
