The meter readin' says 48 guests right now. I thought I saw Macca on a bit ago. I see the Crackah an' bama done been by this mornin'. Howdy, you haul.

So where's Scuba Jane with the mornin' report? Pappy didn't know what kind o' weather or activities to expect today without it, so I dressed in layers.

Layer 1- Buffler hide outerwear to turn back the strong wind and rain, also handy as a temporary brush fire shelter in case we don't get no rain
Layer 2- Buckskins with bowie knife/powder horn action accessories
Layer 3- Oshkosh B'gosh overalls in case some maters ripen up an' need pickin' or else there's whittlin' to be done
Layer 4- 3-piece pinstripe banker suit with attaché case/Razor phone in case a corporate merger or a card game breaks out
Layer 5- Hawaiian shirt/baggy shorts/hammock ensemble in case the corporate merger is successful, or I win the card game, or both, or neither

Hoo wee!

HEE HEE PAPPY!  B'gosh life would be livlier around here if I could come up with good material like that!  That's a classic Pappy post fer sure!

Where is Jane?

Where is Macca?

sigh.....

Ran across my old yearbooks while I was in the attic today.  I had one little ol' box with my Jr. High (that's what we called it back then) and High School annuals (what we called yearbooks back then).  Those 6 books stacked together don't equal the width of Triscuit's yearbook for this year......

Oh well.  I'm gonna go and read what folks had to say back in the dark ages!

We received our updated church directory yesterday and some of us were kidding around that we would sign each others books. You know "Been great being in Sunday school class this year . Have a great summer!!!", and then here you all are discussing annuals. WEIRD huh?

OK, I can admit it now! I had locked myself away in a show of support for my gal pal Paris! Now that she's been freed, so am I!! Woo hoo!

Didn't she look tres chic in that cute little outfit when she was released? I guess they let her primp before releasing her....

And how did the paparrazi know to be there after midnight last night? Just camping out waiting for the big moment?

Glad you're back Macca.  I was gettin' worried!

I heard that Paris was released but I haven't seen the footage yet.  I'm sure I will.......:?

Tell me this, why was she released after only twenty-something days after being sentenced to 45 days????  Good behavior?

Good question!! What constitutes "good behavior?" I heard that some other inmate was raising a ruckus b/c she had some kind of "medical issue" as well but didn't get the preferential treatment Paris did..... I've heard Paris' lawyer say that it was ridiculous that she got any time at all.... but it seems to me she wasn't getting the point about not driving when she didn't have a valid license (revoked) or when she was impaired. I think I read that when she was stopped that last time she was on her way to a burger joint.... Surely she could've ordered it to be delivered, or there was some flunky who could've gone to pick it up for her.

I believe that was a deal arranged before she even reported to jail. I think that was fairly standard, though, not special treatment.
