You all didn't seem to get into to much trouble while I was gone. A wonderful week at the beach. the weather was great, the water warm and the family bonding was good.

I do see where we set a really gigantic new record for number of people. How in the world did that many spammers hit at one time in one place?

Mr. Mike I see all the chicks are healthy and happy so you and pappy failed again.  Just finished picking a half a bushel of beans and had several nice red maters to put in the salad tonight. Cracker did you stop your rain dance while I was gone. We are not as dry as down towards the coast where they are 11 inches below normal in places.

Yee Haw! Welcome home, Scuba Jane! Glad you had a good time an' didn't do no somersaults off the steps.

Yep, if I was gonna admit to anythang, I'd admit to them chicks bein' too fast fer us. Mebbe when they get fatter an' slower like me the odds'll even out some. Mebbe I'll switch to mater rustlin' while I wait. Hee hee!

Well, Crackah, Pappy's brain was able to process them first three words without nary bit o' trouble. Hee hee! That last word, though, I had to look up.

Let's see, it says, "Water: a transparent, odorless, tasteless liquid, a compound of hydrogen and oxygen, H2O."

I be dogged. Nope, that didn't he'p. I'm still havin' trouble understandin'...

Morning All!! As lovely as the beach was and as restful there is no place like home. Even the chicks seemed happy to see me or maybe it was the cracked corn I was carrying in my hand. The grass greww inspite of no rain and the weeds are happily sprouting all over the garden. I will have to see if I can crank the tiller and plow those suckers under.

It is a gorgeous morning out today. Have a great day everybody.

Actually I found a pile of feathers yesterday that look suspiciously like one of the dalmation chicks. Did you sneak over here after all?
