Sorry, Macca...just a reflex action.

Well, since CJ was the creator of M-I and M-II, it seems only appropriate that she be the creator of M-III.
So CJ, if you will do the honors, then we'll implore Yer Honor SM to retire M-II to the graveyard.
And Likewise I will create another Summerfield TC topic so we can all continue our pontificating on political matters.

Was on 150 in OR the other day . They had just one lane paved at the time and it was the one I was on. I kind of felt priviliged you know. Today it is all paved . I also wonder if they will put in sidewalks from the swim club to the shopping center. Home owners might be willing to give or the land to keep the youngens out of the highways and grass.

Morning All!! Sorry I have been very lazy this morning and am late starting. It is such a nice summer morning out today. Was reading in the paper how I should be planting my fall garden. Wow!! Already? Seems like I just fiished the summer garden. I have given up on the tomatoes. We absolutely can not eat them fast enough. I have frozen some and still there are more. I don't know what I did this year but they liked it. Probably the tons of leaf mulch my husband dumped on the garden.
Hope everybody has a great day. Over to the farmers market to stand in line for the precious peaches. I will wave to you all.

Mornin' all. 10-4 on them maters, Jane. That red sun this mornin' was a mater sign fer sure!
Well anyway, it's Sat'dy, the sun's up, an' the grass has finally growed some from the rains. Yee haw! Hmm... I just got a weird feelin' like I'm s'posed to do somethin' about that. I can just barely feel it...some little atrophied thought snoozin' way in the back o' my brain fer many a moon. He's slowly wakin' up now. The little feller's weak from neglect, but I can tell he's a fighter. He's shakin' my consciousness as hard as he can, tryin' to make me understand that them three things, sun, Sat'dy, growin' grass, when they occur together like that, they have a significance... a significance that requires me to act. What is it little feller? WHat am I s'posed to do? Talk to yer Pappy.
Wait, I can hear him, his voice clear but weak..."Sun, Sat'dy, growin' grass...Pappy, don't you recognize me? I'm that little thought you used to think every Sat'dy mornin' when the grass was growin'. (cough, cough) It's been so long, I've done got so weak...(cough, cough)...Pappy, it's dark an' cold back here..."
Well it went on like that fer a while. The poor little feller would crawl right to the edge o' my consciousness, weak but determined, then he'd fall back into the darkness 'fore I could understand what all he wanted to tell me. I think he's restin' now, collectin' his strength fer another try. I'll keep my ear out fer him.
Meanwhile, I better get some biscuits in me. It's Sat'dy, the sun's up, an' the grass has finally growed some from the rains. Yee haw! I better do me a little Tokyo driftin'! It's been a while.

Pappy, it reminds me of the days back with the NWHS band.
They would be playing along, then without warning they'd stop and yell " GET.. UP.. OFF... OF... THAT... THANG (BOOM) !!!!"
Mebbe we need to send the band to your house, and help the lil feller get the point across ????
