Interestingly, there was a helicopter buzzing around rather low to the ground up in my neck of the woods (along Highway 68) for quite a while this afternoon. And that after just hearing that Kevin Harvick has now installed a helicopter pad in front of his house (around the corner) and some of the locals saying he has recently bought his own personal helicopter (although others say he rides around in RC's whirlybird).

Maybe Sandra can talk Kevin into letting her get high with him one afternoon and bring us back some pictures?

We had a helicopter flying over our house yesterday too. I wondered what was going on. I first thought it was Duke Power checking the power lines. Then I thought maybe it was Baptist Life Flight. Never did go out to see what it looked like.

Morning all!! Dragging this morning. The council meeting didn't go on too late last night but the dogs decided they wanted to go out and chase deer starting at 4 this morning. Leo would yip then wait 5 minutes and yip again. I finally got up and yelled at him but pretty much sleep was over.

Busy day today. Hope everybody has a good day.

Mornin' All!

What happened at the council meetin' last night.  Anything good?

Pappy, some folks go all their lives waitin' for a gentleman like you to ask them to dance. I'd be honored sir. :D

Pappy left a little conversation starter 'bout the town council meetin' over yonder in the town council section. I'm a-hopin' I'll have time to say a bit more later.

Morning All!!! Cracker keep up the dancing. The rain has not come. I don't want Pappy's maters to grow faster than mine. Moved all the chicks intogether last night. The little rooster believes he has died and gone to heaven with 30 voluptuous ladies flapping around him.  He just jumps straight up in the air every once in awhile like he just can't contain himself. Pretty funny.

This week has flown by and it is already Thursday. Everybody have a really great day. Mr. Mike watch out for that little rooster is you are lurking around the chicken house, he takes his job as protector of the flock very seriously.

Mornin' all. Jane, it ain't the size o' the mater in the fight, it's the size o' the fight in the mater! Pappy's maters might have got off to a bad start, but they've overcome their rottenness an' have become some lean, green, materin' machines!

Mornin' all!  It's foggy out there today!  Be careful!

hmmmm... foggy.  That reminds me of Froggy. I don't think that I mentioned that Ritz Bits and I have been growin' about a dozen tadpoles for the past month.  3 of them passed and became fodder for the other tadpoles but otherwise it's been a very interesting experience.

Yesterday we woke up and Zippy, our fastest and favorite, went and stretched out his front legs and turned himself into a real honest to goodness frog overnight.  Of course he's still got a little tail, but he hops around like a real honest to goodness froglet.

I'm so proud of him. :D
