Morning All!! I am slow getting started this morning. What in the world is going on though? All the sirens in Summerfield just went down Scalesville Rd. My dogs just howl and howl when the sirens go by.
Cracker it is time to do the rain dance. Hopefully we will get some showers today. It certainly feels like it might rain any time.

Mornin'. Pappy don't like hearin' them sireens. I hope ever'thang's all right.
Looks like ever'body was out enjoyin' the day yestiddy. This here was one o' them weird weekends when you don't think you're gettin' anythang accomlished, then you look back an' see what all you done. Either that or the elves was busy while I snoozed.

Mornin' Friends!
I'll do what I can on the rain Jane (hey... that rhymed too! What fun!) It's just a plain shame that they get all that rain in Maine and our chances for rain seem to continually wane. Alas, we have to suffer the pain of no rain.
I'll keep my eye on the weather vane and let ya know if I see a chan(g)e.
that was just awful... I know.

| The 'local news report' (from up at the Family Diner) this morning, is that all those sirens were fire units from 4 fire departments responding to a house fire on Oak Level Church Road at the residence of James Motsinger. Units from Stokesdale, Summerfield, Oak Ridge and Huntsville/Ellisboro responded. No reports yet on the amount of damage.

Hope your maters enjoyed that sprinkle today friends! Didn't mean to stir up all that wind and those ominous lookin' clouds with my toe tappin' though! 
Hope things are ok at the Motsinger's Jim. Don't like hearin' about those kind of community gatherin's.

Morning All!! Keep up the rain dance Cracker. A sprinkle is all we got and my maters need some serious bathing.. It was angry and things went boom boom around my house but then the skies never opened up. It is foggy this morning. Glad the kids don't have to ride the school bus.
All you Summerfield folks don't forget the Town Council meeting tonight. 6:30 Community Building.

Crackah, to follow up with an update, the Motsinger's clothes dryer had a rubber belt which became stuck, which created a great deal of smoke and smoke damage to their home, but no fire. The dryer was removed from the house and the smoke was cleared. But, I am told from a distance, it appeared from the smoke that the house was completely on fire, and that when Mrs. Motsinger first noticed the smoke, she advised the 911 Operator that her home appeared to be totally on fire. Sounds like the Man Upstairs was looking after the Motsingers and their home. Blessings.

Mornin' all. Pappy's movin' slow this mornin'. Good to hear them Motsingers is all right.
Pappy's maters seem to be healed of their rotteness. All the new little green maters is lookin' healthy an' happy.
That fog revealed a spider web in one mater plant this mornin'. It looked like the critter had a little golf ball sized mater pulled back in his web like it was in a sling shot ready to far. I moved in fer a closer look an' I saw that he had a little bitty Jolly Roger flag a-flyin' off the top o' the mater plant. He was wearin' a jaunty little pirate hat an' was hollerin' stuff like, "Arrr, Mater! Yon flock o' fat flies is comin' in range now fer a broadside! Arrr! Stand ye ready! Aye, they're quick little devils, says you. But I'll show 'em a quick shortcut to Davy Jones's locker, says I! Arr har har har! Or my name ain't Cap'n Jarachnid Spider!"
Dang loony little critter musta been lookin' in the window last night when I was watchin' Pirates o' the Carribbean.

I've been wonderin' that myself Pappy. Macca's pulled a dissapearing act it seems!

BTW Pappy, next time you see that mater flingin' spider (sooooo funny!)peepin' in the window just pop your Spiderman DVD in and things will be right with the universe once again.
