Mornin' Ya'll.

I'll do the rain dance for a couple of days, but I'm takin' the weekend off!  I'll commence again on Monday. :D

Mornin' all. Much obliged on that rain dance, Crackah. Mebbe if you lay down in a dry mater patch all the rainclouds will gather round! Hee hee!

Pappy found a big rotten spot on one o' my maters! I reckon it's because I loved 'em too much an' spoiled 'em rotten.

Crackah, hopefully by Monday, your rain dance will be rained out.

It is so dry that this morning I saw two trees fighting over a dog and some cows producing powdered milk.

Tonight I'm watchin' the Scripps National Spelling Bee .

The little girl who just finished third taught me a new word.  It's one of her favorites and now I think it's one of mine. Thought I'd bring back Crackah's word of the day just because.

kakistocracy  -  kak·is·toc·ra·cy  [kak-uh-stok-ruh-see]   government by the worst persons; a form of government in which the worst persons are in power.

Good word.

Good word.

How coincidental this word would appear tonight---it is so suitable for what just happened.

Yeh, even Oak Ridge seems be greener at this point.  I actually grew up in this small neck of the woods of Guilford County and can at least say this community can agree and get things done. Beautifully done I might add. Summerfield will never reach OR's achievment due to our kakistrocracy.

Morning All!! Bad morning around here. Mr. Snake smothered two of the chicks during the night. My favorite little Polish hen and another one. Snakes are terrible this spring already. I suppose because it is so dry and hot. Not much we can do about Mr. Snakes. If the chicks were just missing I would be blaming Mr. Mike but the evidence was still there when I opened the door.

If you run out real quick you can still see the moon. It is bright red this morning. Beautiful but unfortunately a sign of how dirty the air is.

It is Friday. Everybody have a good day.

Mornin' all!!!!

Jane, I'm sorry to hear about that snake gettin' at your chickens.  When I read that, my feet automatically joined me in the chair.

Missed the moon dang it.  I was up but I didn't stop to smell the roses and enjoy the moon.

Pappy, forgot to tell you that the spoiling the maters rotten thing was a HOOT as well!

It rained on 220 last night on the way to the council meeting.  It wasn't raining east or west of 220, but it rained on 220. :?

Ya'll have a TERRIFIC Friday!!! :D

Crackah, your rain dancin' must have done a little good. We got a nice little sprinkle over this way yesterday afternoon. Please keep on dancing.....whatever you're doing, it's working.

Everyone have a wonderful weekend as soon as we all make it through the day!
