Moring All!! It is foggy out this morning. Sure wish there was some rain attached to the fog. I am tired of dragging the hose around watering the new plants and trying to keep the tomatores happy.
Moved 8 of the chicks to the big house last night. Why 8 you ask? Because that was all I could catch. Hopefully I can catch the other 12 in the next couple of days and get them moved. The little Polish hen did not move from the spot I put her in last night. She is just terrified but hopefully today they all will start getting more aclimated.
Every body have a good day. It is Wednesday already.

Jim and Mike Thank you both for your kind offers of help but I think the chicks stand a much better chance of survival with my less than expert catching techniques. They may die of fear but they won't also get eaten in the process.
You would not like Polish hens Mike. Their hats are real hard to digest.

Morning All!! It is a lovely morning. The chicks in the big house are still huddled in the corner not moving around much yet. They are over whelmed with all the space. The other chicks are not forgiving me for catching their friends and taking them away. There is chaos when I open the door to feed and water them. It is difficult being the mother of these feather teen agers. I wasn't real good with two legged teen agers.
We really need to be doing our rain dance. Pappy would you provide the liquid refreshment for the rain dance?
Everybody have a great day after all it is Thursday.

Gosh, we actually had a 'little sprinkle' of rain over here in Stokesdale yesterday afternoon, and I do mean a 'little sprinkle.' It must have been about 10 drops per square foot and lasted maybe 5 minutes. Not even enough rain to accidentally wet that one hair on Pappy's head. Didn't see any lightning but there was some fairly serious thunder.
