Pappy, I'm so glad you're stayin' in touch with my little chicken friend. I've been missin' his words of wisdom!
Next time ya'll exchange words, ask him how he feels about layin' in cow pastures. 
Not the egg kind of layin' mind you......

"Raindrops are falling on my head" What a surprise this morning to find it sprikling when I went out. Unfortunately it isn't enough to do any good.I saw a map and over half the country is in a drought of some sort or another. We are two inches below normal which doesn't sound like much but is bad right now when we are getting our gardens planted and I am trying to get a tomato out of my patch.
Enjoy this day. Oh Pappy I counted all the chicks this morning and they are all there so Mr. Mike hasn't been over to my house.

Mornin' all. That rain's a purty sound! Mr Ed on News 2 sounded a little surprised by it. I reckon he don't read your mornin' reports, Jane. Hee hee!

I don't want Bama's job, just his workin' hours and his paycheck.
Bein' a bit of a pharmacist myse'f (well, rapid medicinal transport, actually, with some prescription writin' priv'leges for snake bites) I know what you mean about that demandin' work, Grits.

I am still at work. It is dragging today. It felt like morning at 12:50 this afternoon because I was working so hard, I didnt realize it was later in the day. haha.
