Morning All!! It is pretty cool out this morning. Spring is completely taken hold yet. This coolness is hard on those maters, Pappy.

5 chicks went to a new home last night and they were not wrapped in bacon Mr. Mike.  John and Chris Bates came. Chris is the official chicken catcher for their family. Now when they start laying in another couple of months I will only get 20 eggs a day. Maybe I will set up a egg stand at the park. Or even better I will sell eggs at council meetings. We can throw them at people we don't like.

Everybody have a good day. We are going to Ohio later in the week. For those uninitiated this is Dayton Ham Radio Fest week. All radio geeks from far and wide go to Dayton. We have never been and are also going to see our son, wife and garndson.

Mornin' all. I'm glad the maters has slowed down a bit, Jane. I left my hammock tied last night to the smallest mater plant, an' this mornin' the hammock was already three feet higher off the ground. Hee hee!

I like the egg idee!

Morning All!! Mr. Mockingbird is very happy this morning and is singing away on the telephone line. Personally I think its a little chilly myself.

I tilled the garden and finally got around to planting cucumbers, squash an zuchinni last night. I put a little Miracle Grow on my mater plants and told them to catch up with Pappy's. Pappy you better watch those mater plants, you remember what happened to Jack ?

Hope everybody has a great day. Looks like the weather is going to be great for Founders Day this week end. Hear the parade is bigger and better than usual. I can't believe I am going to miss it but some how I don't think my son would understand if I didn't come to see him.

I can't wait for Founders' Day. It's one of the most fun events we cover all year. Sounds like this year it's going to be better than ever.

This year we're not going to have a booth. We'll just be circulating all day, talking to people and taking pictures. Look for us out there.

Yikes, I hope i don't get caught in front of any cameras. I wouldnt want people to know I was around. Then word would get out and people would come from all over hounding me for autographs and such.

I will be the first in line, bama. Let me know if you need a bodyguard and I will beat your adoring fans off with my camera.

Paris Hilton's got nothing on you..... Well, maybe more dollars -- but less cents/sense. (That's a pun in case you guys missed it. :D)

Howdy All!  I guess I'll go ahead and say Good Morning since at the rate I'm going, I probably won't get around to posting again until later tomorrow.

I have lots of things to do in the morning... one of which is to visit the brand new AMPHI-TEETER that's opening on the corner of Battleground and Old Battleground. They sent some KILLER coupons in the mail this week so I figure I'll go check it out.  Hope it's not as big as that Teeterdome over at Friendly.  I don't like a grocery store that you need a GPS to navigate. :?

Thinkin' I'll make a morning of it and treat myself to one of those Mushroom Swiss Burgers at the Backyard Burger too!  YUMMY!!!!!:D

Ya'll have a great rest of the evening and a wonderful day tomorrow!

Hey, Crackah!! Someone told me the HT on Friendly is the largest on the east coast....

Had lunch at Mimi's Cafe today... Very good food (yummy bread!) and very nice decor!

That development sure has gone fast there at Battleground/Old Battleground! I don't travel thru there real often (usually go into G'boro down Bryan or go back roads, depending on where I'm going) but it is just amazing how quickly all that has happened! Are other stores already opening up?
