Jane, maybe you should invite the 'Pastures 14' cast and crew over to help with your hay. They need the experience.

You should see Pappy after a night in the big house......Mammy has to hose him down outside before she will let him come inside......I'm not going to say what she did with that frying pan....Then she preaches to him for the next couple of days.....POOR PAPPY

anybody who would like to have the experience of putting up hay is welcome to come. If the weather is decent today and tomorrow we should be baling tomrrow afternoon. Bring gloves and wear old clothes.

Was the weather today good enough for ya???? I thought it was just hunky dory! Watch out for them copperhaids if you decide to play in the hay tomorrow!
Sorry I left ya all alone in here Macca.... I think I'm gonna be pretty busy until after Founder's Day.... well, actually until school's out. I'll try to do better than I did today though!

morning All!! Yesterday was a hunky dory day and today feels the same. We made it through yesterday with no rain now if we can just get the hay up with no rain. Never heard anybody finding a copper head in the hay but certainly lots of black snakes but we have lots of black snakes around here. I usually drive the truck these days so it isn't so bad. A lot of hay down though. Not sure why we can't do 200 bales at a time instead of 500. We will start this afternoon and hopefully finish in the morning.
Hey Macca it is Friday! Everybody have a good one.

Hey, Jane!! You're right!!
Watching Fox8 morning show..... Showing the lion cubs at the zoo.... They're going to reveal the names on air about 7:20 or so......
The zoo employee they were talking to said they had thousands of names submitted and had a hard time narrowing it down to just 5....
He said that he is very pleased with the winning names, that they were the ones he was hoping would win....
Hope the winning ones are DAKOTA (for Dakota Gauldin), Casey and Mecca (his sisters)!

Well, y'all know me.... If it can be found on the 'net, I can probably find it....
Went to the "name the cubs" zoo site (still had it on my list from where I voted earlier this week)...
DAKOTA, Casey and Mecca ARE the winning names!!!
Isn't that just too cool??!!??
(Don't tell anyone, but when I go visit 'em at the zoo, I'll probably call that one sis "Macca!")
