Mornin' All!
Macca, I was on pins and needles watchin' and waiting to hear if they were gonna name those Lion Cubs after Dakota and his sisters and all I needed to do was check here!
Thanks to Kyle V. from Oak Ridge for submitting those names! What a nice thing to do to honor his friend! He also said on the news that he was donating his free trips to the zoo (that he won for winning the naming contest) to another family who is going through the same thing as Dakota's family did.
What a wonderful young man!!!! Congrats Kyle!

Morning All!! Learned a very important lesson as I was watering the chicks this morning. Do not squeeze the waterer as you turn it right side up or you potentially can fill up you shoe at 7AM with cold water. The waterer is awkward and heavey with a gallon and a half of water in it. I decided that maybe if if squeezed the sides tightly and flipped it over, that would be easier. All I can say is "not".
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood. For anybody who didn't read the other forums, Summerfield got the matching funds to finish their park inspite of the council member and other citizen trying to under mind the Towns request.
Everybody have a great day. I will wave at the Farmers' Market.

Morning All, Jane I am sure if you weren't awake watering the chickies, you surely woke up feeling that cold on your foot. I was wondering why I heard my alarm clock so early!
I took my kids to the park yesterday evening and strolled down to the bricks, and I must say everyone did a fantastic job. The walkway really looks nice. Thanks to everyone who contributed their time. Congratulations on the PARTF money, I am ready for phase II as well.

Mornin' all. The walkway looks great! Pappy's happy!
Well, the maters are out there puttin' on sunscreen an' pluggin' in their iPods an' pumpin' iron like it was Venice Beach. Bulk up all you want, boys! I got my hammock strung up between two of the smaller mater stalks that were still small enough to get my rope around.
It's gonna be a beautiful day!

| Hey, Grits, Pappy saw a double rainbow t'other day but I didn't see nary double pot o' gold! Really spoilt my investment plans. It was a purty rainbow though. Looked solid enough to climb up on.

It certainly was quiet here yesterday.
Morning All!! It is a little chilly out this morning. Unfortunately just a sprinkle of rain last night. We got the hay up on Friday so were hoping for a good shower. Going this morning to take the dogs for a walk in the park and so everybody can see the bricks. I went by yesterday and walked down the row. Very impressive and plenty of room for lots more. That's nice.
