Here is a web site that we might all be able to benefit from:
http://health.discovery.com/BodyChallenge/index.jsp

Any takers??? ♥♥♥

Gosh Macca, I has already challenged my body. Been doing it fer years now. Just getting outta bed sometimes is a challenge. Goin to bed is even more of a challenge.

You better read the fine print in that ad though, something about having to give up BACON and FRIED CHICKEN from the menu and not being able to partake of Pappy's Kickapoo Joy Juice or any other delightful alcoholic beverage. And then they have the audacity to mention healthy eating. Sounds downright like some Yankee political plotting to take over the South again.

Oh, Jimbo! I thought it sounded kind of reasonable and exciting!! With minor changes (cutting back on calories, walking for 1/2 hour at least 5 days a week), you could lose 1/2 to 1 pound a week! That's 52 pounds in a year! When you think about it that way, it doesn't sound so bad! Of course, with my svelte frame, I couldn't afford to lose 52 pounds!!:D:shock::D But I could definitely be healthier!! They offer recipes, meal plans, a journal to log progress -- all for free!!!

You'd feel better, look better and be healthier! Maybe live longer!! ♥♥♥

Pappy only makes them non-bindin' resolutions fer new year's. Non-bindin' like them elastic waistband britches. Hee hee!

Macca, I was gonna sign up fer that body challenge, but unfortunately the hand in charge o' clickin' OK is currently controlled by the body that don't want to be challenged. There was a brief mental struggle after which the Secretary o' the Conscience resigned followed by all brain factions declarin' victory an' vowin' to open diplomatic talks at a fancy eatin' establishment with a all-you-can-eat buffet.

***FLASH***
A internal investigation has uncovered a secret agreement between Pappy's brain an' Pappy's body to eat more salads an' get more exercise! The Secretary o' Laziness, one o' the most powerful o' Pappy's brain factions, is reported to be outraged, but doesn't plan to bother to do anything to stop it.

Hee hee! Macca, are you gonna do the body challenge?

Seriously, Pappy's plan is to eat more salads and fruit (after I go to the library to research what those things are), drink more water (I think it's some kind o' clear liquid), and do some simple exercisin' includin' goin' to the park at least once a week for a cruise around the walkin' trail.

I'm a-thinkin' that's a simple enough plan that I can sneak up on myself with it before I smell commitment an' bolt.
