When are we headin' out???:)

We'll it will have to be before Jane gets up and gives us her Mornin'g Show. Careful, he is probably out there lurking, and sett'n up decoys. Cause I noticed he was on the forum--and then quickly got off when I posted..

Come on now Bama-- Be honest. I have often wondered why you go by Bama.

I thought maybe Alabama Slammer's and even thought since I hardly hear from you on the weekend, maybe you were participating in the Beer Bama Slammer at Talladega last weekend!:D

Sandra, if you keep having to cover and report those 'extra' long meetings from Summerfield, you may prefer a padded cell.

Grits, I think Pappy's recipe is for 'smashed' mater sauce.

GRITS, I go by bama80 because I was born in Alabama and am a Bama fan. I however, graduated from NC State becuase in state tuition is cheaper than outta state. Notice my signature says Roll Tide and Go pack. I was not at the talladega race but I was in Tuscaloosa the weekend before with over 92,000 rabid Bama football fans.

Oh and about Pappy's tomatoes, I hear he waters them with water from Belews Lake and that at night you can tell they are his because they glow. I've also seen a few of Pappy tomatoes with extra parts.

***PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT***

Ever'body downstream, brace yerselves! This rainy weather may cause some potent mater-growin' mixxx runoff to come your way! Be p'pared to experience strange activity in aquatic critters or in livestock drankin' from the crick. Do not attempt to catch an' store any o' the mixxx in plastic jugs. Use only good, thick ceramic jugs. Y'all beaver critters, if you're monitorin' this frequency, please be extry careful with open flame around y'all's wooden structures fer the next week or two. Meanwhile, I'll call Cape Fear an' tell 'em to get ready!

HAW! I hear there's sometimes strange behavior in some o' them aquatic critters on Belews Lake, too. The aquatic critters in boats, I mean...

Maybe I'll mosey on up to the western Stokesdale/Belews Lake observation post at A.B.'s this afternoon for their regular Friday at 5 press briefing to see if I can pick up any news of strange sightings.

It's gotta be 5 O' Clock somewheres, and you know how them critters start acting up after work on Fridays.......

That's the one Pappy!  You found me out! ;)

That house is a MUST SEE!  If anyone goes out to the parade this weekend, make sure you save some time (and energy:D) to tour this one!

Wish I'd paid attention to that "wish room" that Patti mentioned in the article. I didn't know there was a wish room, and still don't know what one is.  I didn't see any wishes floatin' around anywhere in that house, but I sure could have left a few behind when I left!
