Ray, I think your avatar is fine, but if you ever wanted to change, I think the commissioner from Batman suits you. Hee hee!

It's great to be back!!! Thanks for the birthday wishes and the "missing you" messages! I missed y'all too..... Amazing how that works!!! ♥♥♥
Crackah! I had my crew out to the Pumpkin Event early.... Didn't see you, (I don't think.... nobody in a peguin tuxedo!!) but saw lots of folks I did know!!
Saw Batman, Superman, lots of princesses, aliens, and various animals and demons!!! Also saw some cute animal costumes!! My favorite was the dalmation, b/c whoever owned him had gone to the trouble to attach all those little white patches onto his black body!! I don't think he won, though, based on how the voting was going when I was there.... Saw some cute ones on TV yesterday morning.... 2 weenee dogs with little foam cars on them, so they were race cars.....
Such a nice event for the community..... Lots of candy for the kids, nice weather, got to visit with folks we don't see very often.... Those NW Observer folks were cute in their "newspaper" costumes. Good cake, too! Don't know if I won anything.... Haven't heard if I did!
Crackah! Why didn't you invite us to the party???? JK! ♥♥♥

I'm with Ya' Pappy.
In fact, at my request, Ray came by yesterday and graced my front lawn with a couple of his pro-litical signs. All nestled and purty right thar amongst and between themmers Christmasy trees.
(NOTICE to Po'tenshul sign thieves: I have a double barreled load of fun jes waiting fer ya' varmints if ya' show up to steal themmers signs. 'Round here we's shoots first and asks for the name of your next of kin later.)
Can anyone name just one thing Ray's opponent has done for folks out in our neck of the woods? (Naming what she mighta done to our folks don't count). I frankly just don't see where she brings home the bacon for the Northwest community and so, as you may have guessed, Ray will be getting my vote and support.
Sometimes change really is good! And some folks need to change the way they's a been voting. For their own good.

Ray, this gang likes to rotate their avatar inventory periodically. And yes, the timer does wierd stuff, apparently it did the same thing with your sign on, as it did with mine, the night you were asking me about posting stuff, and I was long gone.
I should probably change my Avatar one of these days because Monty has jumped about 6 zillion times since I posted him. Doesn't seem to mind though.
I think it's best I not post my photo because CJ, Pappy, Macca, & Jimbo would then have new dartboard bullseyes. And those darts hurt.
Anyway, Ray, as a suggestion, since you're an ex-Marine, if you happen to have one of your old Marine photos, jarheat and all, that would be a neat Avatar. Very Patriotic.
You are to be commended for getting on here and talking to the group.......there's alot of folks who comment to me "I read the forum but don't feel comfortable posting on there". So your comments are read by many more than just the folks who post here. Folks can get comfortable with you without shaking your hand.

The dog has kept a wary, if not semi-respectful eye on all cats ever since.
Yep Pappy, I'm waitin' for the cat to be half hangin out of a chair, the dog to walk up like "OK, show time", and the cat to show it's tonsils, and slap the fire out of the dog. It's bound to be comin', just hope I'm around to see it.

Tee hee!!!
I DID notice that we will reach 10,000 posts today, as well as 105,000 views!!! Wow! We didn't even exist a year ago, and look how far we've come!
We weren't even a glimmer in ol' CJ's eye at this point last year, I bet! Himmer was too busy rantin' about them thar CC's.....
I think MAAN was born (on Dec. 2, 2005, BTW!) as a way to help folks cope with how that election turned out.... We need to think of some REALLY creative way to celebrate MAAN's first birthday!!! We've already hit several milestones......
Heck, with all the brainpower we got here, we're bound to have something incredible!!! ♥♥♥

Well, since the Queen is out of town, and I'm the King of the castle (until she returns), plus the sun is shining, I've got some "winterizing" to do outside.
Y'all behave yourselves today, while I work like a slave. Those leaves are coming down pretty fast......gotta vacuum them up while they're nice & dry , and mulch easily.

Precisely. Speaking in tongues allows us to fly under radar with our invasion planning and implementation. Oops. Maybe I wasn't supposed to say that Macca? Using Code Words keeps them other folks guessing as to what we is saying and doing!

Better watch out, Steve-o! You know how you tend to be outnumbered real quick!!!
Also!!! You wouldn't really get rid of Monty would you???
Oh, Steve!!! You know what??!!?? I'm sure there are TONS of folks (who weren't around in the beginning of MAAN) who don't have a clue who Monty is, or how he got his name!!! Tell us the story, please, please, please -- Grampa Steve!!! ♥♥♥
