Mr. Ray, there is plenty of room for you in the convertable. Maybe you should start practicing your parade waves.

I'll get right on it Skiddles!
I've got the parade in my calendar, Saturday, December 9 at 2pm.
Now let's all just pitch in and do our thang to make sure I can ride!
I don't have a convertible, with whom may I ride?

Maybe we need an "NWO Forum" Convertible in the Parade, but all the riders need to have bags over their heads to stay anonymous. Ray's bag can have an RR on it, just let 'em wonder.
We could pull Pappy's outhouse behind it.
Reminds me of a story.........many years ago my wife & I lived in a small Tenn town, that celebrated "Heritage Days". They encouraged unusual events, so one was "outhouse races". People rigged up outhouses with wheels, pulled them with dogs, 4 wheelers, lawnmowers, whatever.
the local fire dept rigged up flashing lights and siren on one......so their outhouse ran full lights and whoop whoop siren the whole race. Great Memory.

Just hope there were no 'wipeouts' during the race?

Just posted this on the park forum, but figured I'd re-post it here for all the MAANiacs.
Commissioner Candidates are welcome to fill out the survey too!!!!!
ANNOUNCEMENT
I just went to the Town of Summerfield's website and they have the Park Survey online and ready for us to fill out!!! I was checking a meeting date and didn't have time to do it tonight (said it takes 10 minutes), but you can bet I'll go back tomorrow and do it. Yay!!!!
I'm pretty sure that you Non-Summerfield folks can do it too!!! Please help us whoop the naysayers and build our park!!!!
Sunday evening music in the park..... ahhhhhhh

Hey M.A.A.N. Gang~
I did my civic duty and participated in the survey. If you notice, there's one respondent who hails from 'unincorporated Guilford County'. I guess that'd be me.
I'll try to get my wife to participate as well.
Also, I want to invite each and every one to the 'Meet Ray Riffe' event this coming Sunday, November 5 from 4-6 pm at Bur-Mil Park. Just swing by and shake hands and say hello. Nothing formal at all. It'd be nice to meet some of the gang.
I hope I'll be over this nasty cold I picked up over the weekend, or I won't be shaking hands. I'll be waving from the corner of the room!
OK, I gotta run. TheraFlu is beginning to kick in. I'll try to check back soon!
Everyone knows they can vote early this week thru 1pm Saturday over at the Oak Ridge Fire Dept. or at Bur-Mil Park or down at the Leonard Rec. Center off of Ballinger Road near Guilford College, right?

I'll try to swing by and say hello, from a distance if your nose is red
On the early vote, no I didn't know, and was worried since I'm travelling this week, but thank you for letting us know.........one more thing, what time do the polls open on these early voting days?
