If you ride around the NW part of the county, you will notice that wherever you see a O'Hale sign you also see a Blanks sign and vice versa. Sorta like they are running as Siamese twins. That's just one of the reasons neither will be getting my vote.

DT, I think I'm gonna keep ol' Attack Pappy chained up fer awhile till the tests come back.

Meanwhile, Votin' Pappy thinks the candidates forum is a great way o' sheddin' a little light on candidates so we can figger out which way to vote.

An' after all, that's our part o' the deal, ain't it? The liberty so many have paid such a high price fer is there fer us to enjoy, but it's also there fer us to protect. It's up to us, the voters, the people to keep an eye on thangs, to understand in our own haids as best we can what's goin' on so we can make that all-important informed vote.

I bet ol' Thomas Jefferson would have liked the forum. What's that you say, Tom?

"Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves, therefore, are its only safe depositories. And to render even them safe, their minds must be improved to a certain degree." --Thomas Jefferson

Sorta like, "Blanks? Oh, Hale! " Hee hee!

I wonder if the CC's actually like 'em or if they just don't like who they're runnin' against?

Smart move in my opinion Jimbo!

I met that Jarrell fella who's runnin' against O'Hale and he seemed nice. He told me to ask a cop, any cop who they'd vote for. I did.  I also asked a District Attorney friend of mine.  Both told me that Jarrell is definitely the one to vote for. Now, it would have probably been enough for me to see the signs in the CC yards and in the yards of their pitiful followers, but I did a little homework on this one.

I want folks serving us who will help to better our community and not bring everything to a screeching halt.

And what can you say about BJ??? He's great!! Just don't sit behind him in a meeting unless you bring a booster seat!

Hey Cracker Jax!

Ray Riffe here~

I'll be at the Great Pumpkin Event in Oak Ridge tomorrow. I like what you said about us candidates keeping our promises too!

I copied my entire forum onto a Word doc and saved it to my laptop so that I can refer to it from time to time. I'll also chime in here for input on important issues when I can.

Please help me by keeping me posted and informed as well.

I really want to win this election because I am as frustrated as a lot of folks about the level of representation we're receiving.

It's going to be a tough job for me, but I know if I can manage to stay in touch, then I can gain the trust and respect of the electorate and we can begin to make real progress and have real representation.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hey and thanks!
