8:38 an' the biscuits is done. I don't mean done as in finished bakin', I mean done, finished, not even a crumb left, gone on to the great beyond! In other words, Pappy et ever' dang one of 'em! Hee hee!
In other news, Pappy sure does appreciate the opportunity afforded by the candidates forum! Much obliged, NWO! Much obliged, participatin' candidates! Much obliged, participatin' forumites!
The thang I like about the candidates forum (since you asked...) is how much you can learn with a public back an' forth dialogue. Sure, you can call up individuals an' leave messages, read news articles an' so forth, but I like seein' what questions other people come up with to ask an' how the candidates respond. Interestin' an' informative!

Somebody else say somethin'. I'm tired o' seein' my name on here.
All right, y'all had yer chance. Time fer a Pappy rampage.
The practice o' memorizin' the political party line and equatin' that with actual thinkin' really bothers me! I can understand the appeal, though. It does make life easier for those who practice that partic'lar brand o' religion. Just pull out the appropriate pre-packaged thought and apply it as if you know what you're talkin' about! No assembly required! No reasonin' needed! Then you too can live a comfortable life as a zombie slave aboard the Borg ship flyin' around the galaxy assimilatin' those too weak-minded to resist, all the while pretendin' to yourself and others that you're always right and anybody who disagrees are Beelzebub's young'uns.
It makes reachin' a consensus and movin' forward with ANYTHANG impossible, but don't worry--it's not your fault, it's ever'body else's.
(Y'all shouldn't leave me alone too long. I get myse'f in trouble...)

Glad they closed that candidate's forum. It sure did mess up my "recent" page!
I hope they don't DELETE this one though. It'll be nice to go back and look at from time to time to see if our candidates are keepin' their promises.
