Starcatchr! Love your avatar!! At first I thought it was an acting mask, then decided it's a real star catcher sitting on a quarter moon. Then Crackah confirmed that with himmer's last post!! :) ♥♥♥

(Note: Macca Alert: This is not another Carolina joke. This is the "Real McCoy")

Now to be fair and balanced in sports news reporting, here's a headline which should put a smile on my friend Skiddle-dee-dee's (no dum) face. (Sometimes I just can't believe how humble and gracious we Carolina fans are to our rivals at the lesser schools in the ACC)

From this morning's Raleigh News & Observer Sport's Page, comes this headline:

Bass Fishing Team Reels In Title For N.C. State

The story goes on to say:

For those N.C. State fans thirsting for a national championship, your years of anguish are over.

On a blustery Saturday on Lake Lewisville in north Texas, Wolfpack senior Chad Craven and sophomore Alex Freeman used a clever mix of lures and tactics to capture the inaugural Boat U.S. National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship.

Craven, 24, of Greensboro and Freeman, 23, are both members of the NCSU Bass Pack, which sent two teams to compete in the three-day championship.

Bass fishing huh Skiddles? The NCSU Bass Pack? Think the NC State fans will ever live this one down?

Mornin' all. That is a cool avatar, Starcatchr!

Where'd all the candidates go? They skeered of us?

Where'd all the bacon go? Don't be skeered, bacon.

Unfortunately, Pappy, only a handful have shown up at all! We really appreciate those candidates who have been participating and hope some more will join us before the deadline... They've still got a couple more days! ♥♥♥

The more reputable brunswick stew makers only use registered road kill. That means they know the license number o' the car that hit it.
