I see in an article in (another paper) that Linda Shaw thinks she should be re-elected b/c she opposed the landfill near OR, helped S'field lease county-owned land for its new park and "was lobbying national officials for a bigger U.S. Post Office in Stokesdale." Hmmmmmm.... I don't know about the first two items, but I do know that we've been trying for a l-o-n-g time to get a new post office in Stokesdale...... Wonder what kind of documentation she has about that advocatin' she's done??? ♥♥♥

DT, I think anyone can go to any of the early voting places if you want to vote before election day. On election day (Nov. 7), you vote in the Stokesdale Gym. It is located on Athens Road. It used to be behind the school, but now, with the way they have changed the entrance, it is at the front of the school. You will see it, even if you're not sure where to go. School will be out that day, so you won't have school traffic to contened with! ♥♥♥

I always vote early at Burmil (In case I kick the bucket or somethin' before election day - I want to be sure I'm counted!).  I don't know who all can vote there though.  I would just call the board of elections and find out if that's where you SD folks need to go as well.

Crackah, remember Mayor Dailey's old admonition: Vote Early and Vote Often.

I sure hope Pappy brings ya a biscuit - Ya'll bein' such good pals and all.....  :D

Jim, I tried that "vote often" thing back when the CC's were up for election.  The Burmil folks were not receptive to the idea at all! :?

Quite a disappearing act you have there Pappy.

Me thinks you're ready for Prime Time.

Now if you could only make a couple of the CC's disappear we would be REAL impressed!
