Here ya go - don't blame me, found it on the 'net  Cracker, does your bird have friends and family - you need 8 total  I know where you can get the bacon 
Bacon BBQ'ed Bird Recipe
Ingredients:8 birds of your choice
1 lb. fresh bacon
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon ground sage
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Directions:Marinate birds in Italian salad dressing overnight. Pat dry, season with paprika, ground sage, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Wrap each bird with bacon slices. If you use more than one slice of bacon to cover the bird, match the seams on the same side. Place the birds on a medium-hot grill, bacon seam side down. Cover and grill for 15 minutes. Turn and grill another 15 minutes. Test the bird with a fork, if it is not tender cook another 15 minutes.
Baked beans, stuffing, fresh vegetables, and bread of your choice would be an excellent complement for this entree. After your birds are done, throw the bacon into your pot of baked beans for excellent seasoning.
When you BBQ smaller wild bird it tends to be on the dry side. This recipe will definitely fix that.

Oh, yuck, KRIS!!! When you really think about that bird pecking on Crackah's window and then this recipe for grilling it, ewwww!!!
On the other hand, you've proved once again what a "Suzy Homemaker" you really are!!!! Very impressive!!!♥♥♥

My AI observation of the week: I find it quite interesting that the Idol powers-that-be have been predicting a guy to win this season and when it gets down to 3 guys and 1 girl, they have ELVIS week! I think that put Katharine at a disadvantage from the start last night. NOW, I have admittedly gone to the dark side and become a Taylor fan (LOVED "In the Ghetto" last night!) But, I just hate to see Katharine go if they tried to swing it that way, you know what I mean? I love 'em all - even Chris and I don't really like his style (I think he'd be better in a band than on his on anyway...)
OK, glad to get that out of my system

| Hmmmm, Interesting "AI" observation, Kris! I haven't kept up with it the way you others have, so I didn't catch the Elvis thing.... It does seem that the deck may have been stacked against her.... But, if she has enough loyal fans, they would see through that and try to keep her from getting booted off.... Although at this point the competition is so stiff that it'd be hard to keep anyone from being voted off! ♥♥♥

Actually, Lacka, I've been rolling on the floor all afternoon and just recovered enough to respond! (Also, I didn't want to incur the wrath of Crackah -- shem's pretty tough, you know!) I thought it was hilarious!! ♥♥♥

Hey.. I heard thru the grapevine today that Wepete was supposed to have had some type of surgery on Monday. Don't know any details, but wanted to wish him the best if he checks in!!!!

Welllllll howdee Macca! Musta been a busy day for you huh?
I don't really want to scare that dumb bird away because it doesn't seem to be endangering itself, and I am DYING to know why it is doing that!!! I've tried getting into his psyche but can't seem to get anywhere. Today shird (That's SHE/HE/Bird) did something new.... Shird flew into the window NONSTOP until around 1 pm and even though I couldn't see anything in it's mouth, the windows are now COVERED in muddy beak streaks... I thought at first it was kamikaze-killing worms or something but I never saw anything in it's beak.
STREEEAANGE!
I hate to be gross, but .... Are you sure it's mud?
