Glad you are helping me keep up with the Idol Scuba Jane! It's getting harder and harder to choose each week!

Welllllll howdee Macca! Musta been a busy day for you huh?
I don't really want to scare that dumb bird away because it doesn't seem to be endangering itself, and I am DYING to know why it is doing that!!! I've tried getting into his psyche but can't seem to get anywhere. Today shird (That's SHE/HE/Bird) did something new.... Shird flew into the window NONSTOP until around 1 pm and even though I couldn't see anything in it's mouth, the windows are now COVERED in muddy beak streaks... I thought at first it was kamikaze-killing worms or something but I never saw anything in it's beak.
STREEEAANGE!

OH! and and I must give Ponder the credit for the Holy Tailfeathers remark.
He came in to my house the other day and noticed my new febreeze air freshener (morning mountain rain scent or something) and said,
"Holy Carpet Fresh Batgirl! What's that smell??"
It just tickled me.
I shall be VICTOR for a while longer unless Pappy needs me to don a cape for some crusade or another.......

Dear Ask Lacka,
I have this bird problem. Don't worry... it's not the flu or anything and I'm not growing a beak. My problem is this psycho robin that keeps flying into my window and pecking on it. This goes on all day. Shird, (that's SHE/HE/Bird in case you didn't catch that), Anyway, shird seems to think shird is a woodpecker, however shird is greatly confused because shird doesn't peck on the wood, only glass. Last year it was the star on our boat that shird chose to peck on. What do ya think is on this bird's mind???

| Hey Cracker!! Your Robin is a hebird and hebird is trying to chase away his rival which is himself reflected in the window. I had a Cardinal once who spent all spring fighting his image in the side mirror on my car. My Cardinal eventually gave it up. Your Robin might also or will knock his brains out and that will solve the problem . This also brings up the question is he thinking so you may not need Lacka to psychoanalyze him. It just a man thing.

OF COURSE, you are right! I hadn't even thought of it, but the male birds are the pretty ones.... I don't want to get anything started, but those guys have to be pretty in order to attract the attention of the females! ♥♥♥
You know, if those female birds were REALLY smart, they'd know that good looks aren't everything.... and they'd learn to appreciate what makes each potential mate special in his own way! ♥♥♥

Why Thank you Jane! That explains why he looks so angry! He puts his hackles up much like a cat does.... Never seen a bird do that!
I might just have to put a picture of a robin up there to make him CRAZY!

Good to hear some chatter on here. Pappy's been busy this week.
Sounds like Scuba Jane's got that bird critter figgered out. He mighta started out with a good reason, but after bangin' his head into the door so many times, he might be a little loony by now. Just speakin' from personal experience...
You ain't gettin' tarred o' your new avatar already are you, Crackah? I was glad the ol' coot wandered back in, but I miss the Lone Ranger now an' then. We might need a posse o' avatars this time out in case Macca wants to join up!

(Started tapping at 8:25 am. I'm timing the looney shird today)
Scuba Jane's theory sounds good, but there is no sun so can there be a reflection?? I went out there an looked for my reflection but there wasn't one.
Maybe you have to have feathers to see it.
Besides, why is this shird the ONLY shird in the universe to see himmer's reflection in my window if indeed that's what shem is doing???
