I think Chris sang his Elvis songs in a bland an unoriginal fashion, in order to throw the contest. That way, he won't be tied down to American Idol's recording contract for the next 3 years.
As for the Davinci Code; I have no desire to see that one, nor MI:3. I am holding out for Pirates 2!!

BTW I certainly didn't mean to offend any of the kids by saying they were prom primping you know.... If I were a high schooler, I'd rather be prom primping too! I appreciate all the help you and Mini Mc gave to the parade folks. I just had hurt feelings that McMath turned Summerfield down.
We will try to get on their calendar EARLY next year.
Perhaps you could pencil Summerfield in right now??? No, on second thought, write it in RED INK!!!!! 
If Mini Mc wants to play, let me know!!!!

Hey! Good to see you again Aeolius! Macca and I are VERY ANXIOUSLY awaiting the new Pirates movie too!!! (BTW...dont' get macca going on Johnny Depp..... Shem is a HUGE scissorhands fan!!!)

oh, and Kris... Lacka's crack attack on the Crackah was NOT funny and yes the bird is still tapping. After nesting season, watch out for my little Robin... He will be the one with the blunt beak.

Hey macca, here I am, wow, didn't know she would get so mad over that hair comment. Boy when she kicked me out of the nest, she really kicked me out. I landed on my wing and I think I broke it. I don't know if I will ever be able to fly again. Do you remember how?

Those of us who are UNDER 29 don't even know who Barry Manilow is. 
Besides, I can't believe you publicly admitted that you liked Barry Manilow!!!! Everybody likes Barry, but NOBODY admits it!!!! tee hee!!!
Got a little story for ya....
My friend MANDY was hanging out at the COPACABANA one day, and was telling this story about a trip thru the BERMUDA TRIANGLE on her way to A WEEKEND IN NEW ENGLAND when a hurricane swept in and gave her a scare. She said she got through the night by listening to Manilow. She said, "by DAYBREAK I knew that I MADE IT THROUGH THE RAIN" Crackah! "IT'S A MIRACLE but it LOOKS LIKE WE MADE IT for sure!" EVEN NOW when I think about her story or I hear THE OLD SONGS I raise my glass to ol' MANDY and say THIS ONE'S FOR YOU!

I figured it out, yesterday...
Shorty, over at Wilson's Grocery, had the old gas tanks removed from his Texaco station awhile back. Everyone knows the Mom & Pops can't compete, in the gasoline business, these days...
Imagine this... Shorty puts in 2 new pumps... Ethanol and Biodiesel. He'd have to be making more off those pumps, than having no pumps at all. He's close enough to the hike & bike trail around Lake Higgins to add supplies for the hikers and bikers, as well. Then, add a deck and some weekly local entertainment, and his place would be hoppin'!!

You folks ought to have seen it, last week. I took my two alpacas to my daughter's show & tell day at the Montessori school on Horsepen Creek. They were studying South America, so it seemed appropriate. I had recently purchased a (very) used horse trailer, so I can now carry critters from place to place.
At least they didn't spit on anyone...and by "them", I mean the alpacas.
