Awwww, Crackah!!! I left home 3 hours ago to run a short errand and am just getting home!!! Had a nice conversation with a nice lady who hadn't had the opportunity to just talk with anyone lately and I was there.... It was good for both of us to have some sharing time, although I mostly listened.... She needed someone to talk to and I was glad to listen... It'd be nice to have more of those times.... ♥♥♥
Of course, I'm sure my family wondered what in the heck happened to me, 'cause I said I'd be back "in a few minutes...." ♥♥♥

It's always nice to take the time to brighten a lonely person's day!!
It's hard to "allot" time to people in need of good ol' conversation.
It always cheers me up when I can do that, even if it's accidental.

I just heard that Summerfield has FINALLY secured a marching BAND for the parade!!!
Northwest (You know, our HOMETOWN HIGH SCHOOL) couldn't do it  because they all had to primp for the prom that day or something..... (Sorry Kris )
I know Kris had been working on it, McGarrett had been working on it, and Grier's people were supposedly working on it but so far no luck.
Finally the parade guy just decided to cold call Northeast High and it just so happens that they had a cancellation for that day.......
They were supposed to be playing for American Idol Chris' homecoming!!!
Poor Kids! What a let down!
Ya'll be sure to cheer for Northeast real loud on Founder's Day!!!

Stokesdale had a band from one of the Rockingham County schools (in addition to our hometown band!) in our "holiday" parade.... McMichael maybe? I remember they were good too, and I remember seeing them as they came down the street with their flag routine as they played.... Didn't know y'all were looking for a band... ♥♥♥

It seems that this year we've really had a SPRING! Seems that some years we have a couple of Spring days, and then go right into Summer! Let's enjoy it!!!! ♥♥♥

| BTW, CRACKAH! I just wanted to share something with you that I just thought of yesterday (when it happened the second time) -- My cats have killed two birds in my front yard in the past week! I also saw a chipmunk and a frog they'd gotten! Don't know if they just don't care for the food we're givin' 'em or if they just like to capture their own....♥♥♥

Y'all ready for a Da Vinci countdown??? Only one more week until the big premiere!!! I love movies but don't usually see them as soon as they come out, but I can't wait for this one! Am trying to convince the hubby to go, but will go by myself if I have to!!! ♥♥♥

Yea I knew "so dark the con of man" anagram once upon a time macca..... but not anymore! I can't retain any info like that anymore and I loaned my book to Starcatchr. Have you finished that book yet Starcatchr??????

That was a good'un Lacka How's your bird today Cracker? I haven't seen many robins this spring - they must all be over in Summerfield. (No BBQ'ed Baked Bird for us this week. I had to go huntin' through the freezer section at the grocery store instead )

I'm glad ya'll got a band! The mini-Mc would have gladly polished up the trumpet on May 20th instead of prom primpin'

Yep, DaVinci is finished - what a book! I spent many minutes online looking up quotes, sites, Opus Dei, and such.
