Checking in from McAllen Texas tonight
Went across the border today, drove by the River of Guano......pretty ripe on a hot day, and if that wasn' the living end, there was a skunk squashed all over the road.
Not sure if y'all are following this in NC, but the Congress of Mexico is pushing to legalize "minimum amounts" of "recreational drugs" people can possess, ie marijuana, heroin, cocaine. The stunning justification is that if people can prove they are "addicts", they are permitted to carry "minimum" amounts to sustain their addiction, since Mexico has squat for de-tox.
Naturally the USA opposes this, due to the concern gringos would rush across the border for "tourism usage". Vincente Fox has done an about face in the past 24 hours, yesterday he was all ready to sign, today he is back peddling due to outrage from the USA.
I had heard all this last week, but frankly didn't believe it until I read it in the papers down here.

| Pappy the patches are working ok.....I do have a few problems with them, made a mistake and took a bite out of one ,Yuk taste like cardboard....then there is the problem when I go out in the sun, I start sizzling.....
