Mr. Mike how could you say that about my poor Innocent chicks. They will be quivering in their chicken house worrying about being well done by some deranged bacon lover.

Mr. Mike you had better be careful or the super moderator will get you for trying to flame my chicks.

Now Jane, you know that under the American system of justice, that accuseds are innocent until proven guilty.

Perhaps I need to come over and help grill 'em? Maybe Pappy and Mr. Mike can help. (Presuming they are innocent of course)

Morning all!!! Its sprinkling and a little hazy out this morning. Wish we had gotten some real rain but just a drizzle it appears. I have started turning the light off the chicks at night and they are so funny in the morning when I turn the light back on. I go out and they are all quietly sleeping, turn that light on and bam they jump up and start running around like crazy things. It must be sort of like in the creation and God said "Let there be light." Makes me laugh.

I just don't understand how you chicken eating people could even consider eating this adorable chicks.

Everybody have a great day. Macca today is Friday, right? Don't tell me if its not.

Hee hee. I never tried that with chickens, but it works the opposite way with Mammy. When the light comes on in the mornin', she slams her eyes shut tighter'n Pappy's wallet an' mumbles, "The light...it burns!" After a second or two o' frantic tunnelin' deeper under the buffler hides, you end up with a peacefully slumberin' Mammy-sized lump.

Agreed GRITS.

Jane is so upbeat in the morning, when I'm drinking that first cup of java, and saying UGH !!!   Really a pleasant way to start the day reading about those baby chicks, which I hope she's keeping away from Mike !!!

Grits I hope there is a good turn out also. The Friddle property lay out has changed. It was discovered that the drawings left out a number of acres and they can actually get 8 ballfields on the Friddle property. I have not seen the new layout but that was what Michale told me when I turned in my stuff the other day.

Today was a nice day. Got lots of work caught up and can enjoy my week end with out worrying about what I didn't do. I have jury duty on Monday. My husband and I get called every few years. I expect this will be my 6 time of being called. Don't have to go to High Point till after lunch on Monday. i have only ever sat on one case which was a drunk driver and I thought pretty clear cut guilty. It took several people about 4 hours to come to that conclusion but we finally got a guilty verdict. Jury duty is a pretty easy way to help pay for living in a democracy I think especially now that most people only serve one day.

Everybody have a great day and come by the Hudson James property in the morning and sign the register. Makes the day go faster.

And just as I was reading the definition of INCOMPETENCE in the dictionary.....

Don't you just love "REAL EXPERTS"?

What's next?

Wonder what else they got wrong?
