n00b here. :D Hello everyone. I wanted to talk about animals for a minute. I am an animal lover. All animals are created equal :) BUT what is not fair to animals is letting them run loosely on a busy highway in Summerfield. I am speaking of 2 beautiful golden retrievers that grace me with their presence every morning during rush hour and late at night. They do have collars, but no tags. (or else I would contact the owners) If you know someone that owns these dogs, please tell them to take care of them. Thank you!

It's the n00b again :) While I'm on MY soap box. What's up with a local bank here in Summerfield? I'm not going to say the name BUT, the employees like to yell out everyones balances like it's no BIG deal. I personally don't want to hear everyone's financial business, NOR do I want mine blurted out for everyone and their brother to hear. I've complained about this before to the management, BUT nothing has been done about it. Does anyone else have this same problem?

Hi BreBre
I don't know who owns those dogs, but you might want to write a letter to the editor about this. Allowing dogs to run loose is dangerous to the dogs and to people. I know I've swerved all over the place trying to avoid animals that darted out into the road. Heck, I've even stopped traffic to fetch snakes and turtles out of traffic. If you don't want to write a letter to the editor, email a question to the 'Questions You've Asked' page and ask what you can do. Maybe the folks who own these dogs will see the write-up and take measures to keep their dogs contained. Sadly, you may have to call Animal Control to retrieve the dogs. If they're hanging out around a busy road, it's just a matter of time before something bad happens. :(

Alicia

P.S. On your bank problem, you can (a) change banks and write a letter to the home office explaining why you are doing so, or (b) you can write a letter to the home office explaining that you WILL change banks if the tellers don't stop announcing private information. At my credit union, the tellers write the balance on the receipt. The figure is never spoken aloud. Complaining in writing is usually a good way to get people's attention. It means that you're ticked off enough to sit down and compose a letter. Most managers don't want customers THAT ticked off.

yesterday was a perfect day for the bulb planting.

I left early did all 3,000 bulbs get planted. I worked with Erin and she and I talked about how pretty everything was going to look in a few years when the bulbs were established.  Terry did a great job of organizing us all. Met some new people and I think everybody had a good time.

Today is a prefect day to recover from any sore muscles we might have from all the bending and squatting.

Yep, All bulbs got planted. George, little bb, and myself finished them off. Lot's of bulbs got planted. Sorry I got there late but still got to plant some.

Baseball / softball evaluations went on all day. Lot's of Summerfield young'uns came out on this wonderful day. I love this time of year. New faces coming out for T-ball and old friends getting together to watch their children and grandchildren play ball.

PLAYBALL !!!!

This color is crimson.

This color is emerald.

This color is jade.

This color is aqua.

This color is fuchsia.

This color is lilac.

This color is magenta.

This color is marigold.

This color is sienna.

Obviously, at least with my computer, these colors don't hold true to their names. However, I like to experiment every now and then to see if I hit on one I like for a while.... Just a matter then of remembering what it's called!!:D:D:D ♥♥♥
