Mornin' y'all! Snow in OR? I'll add that to the list...

Them was some cold lookin' clouds this mornin'. Pappy's left eye froze up just lookin' at 'em. My right eye escaped 'cause it was lookin' at a warm biscuit instead.

PAPPY! Did I see you on one of them History or National Geographic channels last night??? :D:shock:

They did a history of "Moonshine!" :D:shock::D

I didn't see it all.... passed out.... errr... ummmm... I mean fell asleep .....

Showed a bunch of revenoors chopping up stills in the old days, and talked about Prohibition...

Also showed modern day agents staking out stills in Virginia. Described it like a "cat and mouse" game. The 'shine makers are always coming up with new ways to hide their operations and the agents are always trying to find them without letting the makers know they're on to them, so they can catch them when they're actually there. They talked about the dangers of being poisoned by the 'shine and of the makers being blown up b/c they use propane gas tanks to power the operation. Also showed them, after removing the propane tanks, using nitro sticks to blow up a modern day operation..... I believe they said there are at least 30 operations they know of in southwest Virginia....:D:shock::D

Yeah, it's amazing how Sheridan and Pete Best got dumped b/c the others were so jealous of their talent or popularity or whatever, but then... as they say, "The rest is history!" These guys' only claim to fame is that they were around at the beginning....:D

They said that some of the operations they had uncovered could bring in up to $50,000 a week!!! Said it costs about $5.00 to make a gallon and they sell it for $20. Of course, the agents were concered with all the tax $$$ they were NOT paying on their goods....:shock::shock:

One of my little Skittys (the largest one) went sledding last night and built him a snow maker today. He is "icing" down a hill in the side yard. There is some tweak'n to do yet to get it snowing, but it's fun and icy fast right now! I guess if ol' man winter won't bring the snow to us ... we'll make it! Macca bring the little ones! WEEEeeeee!

Pappy would like to he'p, but I cain't testify with my mouth full. As fer soap, have ya'll checked a calendar lately? FEBRUARY. I rest my case.

Mr Mike's liable to be passed out somewhar after readin' them "bacon biscuit drought" words. I'm purty sure he's about as innocent as Pappy is though.
Pappy I'm innocent....so what if that trail of bacon grease leads me.....
