See, when they get to be teenagers, they're a whole lot smarter than their parents.....
At least that's what they keep tellin' me.....

Dakota is hanging in there. Poor kid, he's had such a tough fight. He perked up some when I gave him the shirt. The guys at Station 6 said they would send a patch, so I left them with one of my biz cards. I'm going to drop them a note of thanks for being so sweet to a kid they've never met.

Oops - forgot to address this part. Yes, I can make cuke/melon. I can pretty much make anything. I've been making soap for ages (about 18 years now, and I used to make the soap at the shop in STO -- 200+ pounds per week). There are all kinds of fantastic scents out there in fragrance oils as well as essential oils. My favorite is lemongrass essential oil. Well, that's my favorite of the ones I can afford! (My absolute favorite is sandalwood essential oil, but since it's over $1,000 per pound I don't count that one as affordable. We won't even talk about how much pure rose or jasmine essential oils cost.) Getting your girls to kick the B&B habit is a good idea. That stuff is LOADED with detergents and surfectants that are really harsh on the skin. A lot of people who use commercial soap (Evil Corporate Soap, as I call it) end up developing sensitivities because they're piling all this unnatural stuff onto and into their skin. My soap is all natural, and I use buttermilk for its moisturizing properties as well as raw silk 'cause it makes such a wonderful silky lather. I even use oats from the Old Guilford Mill in some of my soaps because I know it's good stuff and oatmeal is very soothing.

LOL! Nope, you can't blame the bacon biscuit drought on me! It doesn't take THAT much milk to make a batch of soap!

Alicia, if you are using all that much buttermilk in soap, wouldn't that result in less buttermilk being available for making lots of (bacon) biscuits for Pappy and Mister Mike?
You think that might have anything to do with the scarcity of bacon biscuits 'round here?

I'm thinking that Pappy and Mister Mike need to come clean on their complicity in this here bacon biscuit drought. Alicia, even your best soap may not wipe the buttermilk biscuit crumbs and bacon bits from some guilty hands.
Pappy would like to he'p, but I cain't testify with my mouth full. As fer soap, have ya'll checked a calendar lately? FEBRUARY. I rest my case.
Mr Mike's liable to be passed out somewhar after readin' them "bacon biscuit drought" words. I'm purty sure he's about as innocent as Pappy is though.

Yummmmm! Did someone say buttermilk biscuits??? Pappy, even without the bacon, that sounds good! They'd even make vegetables taste better!!!
