No, I'm down in Mexico freezing.

It feels like Canada down here, thank heavens I brought my  Columbia ski jacket.

I thought Mexico was supposed to be warm??   Guess I'm in North Mexico.

Yep.........sometimes I'm like that old Beach Boys song "Round, Round, get around, I get around"

This trip literally came up Tuesday afternoon, I didn't want to miss the TC meeting Tues night so made travel for Wed...........and have to get back Friday afternoon for a funeral.

Not sure how many of you might have known Kenneth Clark, who graduated NWHS last year.  Sandra & I knew him well from the band, plus both our daughters knew him well.  He died unexpectedly this week of an undiagnosed heart condition, I'm still in denial on this one.  Just sad beyond words to see life robbed from such a young person. Ken was raised by a single mother, in a modest situation, who gets high marks from me for doing her best.

Gosh, who'd have thought a bag of soap would get so much attention? Thanks, Steve, for the advertising. I'm glad you liked the soaps -- and I hope Mrs. Steve enjoys them. I'm also glad you got them in time for Valentine's Day. We took the red-eye flight back from CA and our connecting flight at Dulles was delayed, so I'd been awake for about 30 hours by the time I got home. I didn't have jet lag -- I had jet drag!  I hurried up to the office to drop off the soap so you could pick it up, then found out that it was going to be delivered. Honestly, I was so tired that I hardly remember the conversation I had with Patti. Or was it Sandra? :P
Oh well, the important thing is that you were able to get Mrs. Steve her gift.

Alicia
fully rested and planning another batch of soap for next week

What do they call that "recycle gifts"

This has been the most publicized bars of soap in Summerfield !!

Yes, it was for "Mrs Steve", and I'll do some advertising for a nice lady, Alicia Cosgrove @ our own NWO who makes scented soaps that smell wonderful.

Got Biscotti Oatmeal, Raspberry Violet, Honey Oatmeal, and Sunny Soap.

Um, no, I haven't come across a biscuit-scented fragrance oil, but I would not be surprised if there's one out there. I'll give you a shout if I find biscuit or bacon scents. :D
