It was a beautiful sunrise Pappy but you know what red in the morning means? Sailor take warning! Might get a few snow flurries.

Cracker will you and Macca settle for snow flurries so I won't feel guilty when I do my spring is coming dance?

Well, Jane, Pappy ain't much of a sailor, but I wouldn't mind a good snow 'fore sprang. That is a wintry lookin' sky out yonder.

Better wear yer tinfoil hats out yonder! A feller in the paper seen a UFO flyin' around these parts. Said he seen a round, shiny object 'bout 7,000 feet in the air. Huh. February 6, 'twixt 9:30 an' 10. I be dogged. Pappy was lookin' up in the sky right about then, too. I remember 'cause that's about the same time one o' my experimental stills blew up. Just think -- if I hadn't been so intent on watchin' my still go a-flyin' up in the air, I mighta noticed the UFO that feller seen. Oh, well...

So my brother (the one who is forever telling me how wonderful life in Oak Ridge is) sends me an email tonight of the nephew sledding in the snow.  He was trying to convince me that there was snow up on "the Ridge" and I was missing it!!!!

The spoose tells me that some church brought in snow or made snow or something like that for the locals to enjoy.  It was supposedly up in the Lowes Foods area.  Did ya'll hear about it and just not tell me??

WHAT??!!??? There was snow in OR and no one told us???

We've just GOT to recruit more forum members from "the Ridge" so we can keep up with what's going on there!!!

BTW: PLEASE don't tell the little maccas about this.... They would be sooooo upset to know there was snow and they didn't get to play in it!!!:shock::shock:
