Thanks!
I've never heard of that Conference DToney..... Sounds really interesting!
Who nominated her to go? How does a kid get nominated for such a thing?? Was it based on class rank, grades or something else?

Did you see anything interestin' on your walk Scuba J??
And yes, I was having forum trouble earlier today too.

I had a lovely walk. Made it almost 2 miles but got stopped by my niece and her two little boys so played with them for a while and had to hurry home to fix dinner. Was followed home by this adorable yellow lab (unspayed male something young dog. I feel so sorry for this dog who somebody on the road has bought but allows him to run loose a lot and he is going to get run over. I am at this point down to 3 large dogs and can not take on another one although he is tempting. The dogwooods are bgining to turn. Fall will be here before we know it. All in all a lovely walk. Thank you for asking Cracker.

Macca don't you think there must be something wrong with the counter? 800 that averages out to 33 an hour over a 24 hour period or one every 1.5 minute. Aren't you impressed with my math skills. I am learning to play Sudoku so will be a whiz soon. Anyway that number seems incredibly high. We're are good but........ Last edited on Sep 7th, 2006 02:17 am by DOGGETTJA

Of course I think there is something wrong with the counter, Jane! But who am I to argue with an inanimate object??? Maybe we'll reach 1,000 hits by the end of the evening!!! ♥♥♥

I really don't know how they got her name... the literature states it is because her GPA is over 3.5! It is a little expensive... $1,335 not including transportation or incidentals.... but it does seem really interesting!

Aww, it's gotta be more than the GPA.... I bet more than half the senior class has a GPA of 3.5 or higher!♥♥♥

Good Morning! I'm impressed with that forum ART you put up there too Mr. Mike! How clever!
DToney, that Leadership Council thing... Now that you mention the expense, it seems like we might have gotten something like that. Was it on really nice blue stationery? Wait, maybe it was cream...... Anyway, we got something like that earlier in the year and when I saw how much it was I chucked it.
Obviously I didn't retain the information contained within.

The Word of the Day for September 7 is:
picaresque \pik-uh-RESK\ adjective
: of or relating to rogues or rascals; also : of, relating to, suggesting, or being a type of fiction dealing with the episodic adventures of a usually roguish protagonist
Crackah's example sentence:
I just want to know who else thought of Pappy when they read the definition of the word picaresque.
