You've never heard that???? No one's ever sung that song to you??? The "Made the Monkey Look" song????
One of the kids says "Look Cracker!" I turn my head to look and they sing "Made the Monkey look!"
Just one of those nanny nanny boo boo kind of kiddie things.
ACtually just wanted to be sure I post on RR from time to time to keep bama's memory alive (so SMS doesn't move it to the forum graveyard) and in the process I thought I'd see if I could catch a monkey in my trap.
Looks like you're the first monkey macca..... We'll see who else I catch!

Dear CJ
I went back & double checked to make sure I hadn't made a mistake on the date thing with the 60 days.............however, the comment specifically said:
Anything that has not had a posting in 60 days, ie Aug 15th or older, is going to be closed, and moved to closed topics.
Now then, some topics are sacred, and will never die: Such as
- MAAN
- Road Rage
- Restaurant Review
- Bullwinkles Corner
- Various & Sundry others.
However, I appreciate your diligence in keeping the flames alive.
SMS

I knew the deadline date. I was just making SURE that Road Rage didn't become Road Kill!
I'm glad you're gettin' rid of some of the excess baggage.

Thanks for keeping our good sites from going down the tubes Crackah!
Especially this one.... I need somewhere to vent my frustrations after a 45 minute commute sometimes! I still have not gotten used to folks treating speed limit signs like mere "suggestions"...

We have all learned to cope so well with our Road Rage thru this forum that we just haven't needed to post so often....
We just go back and read about it, and SNAP!! We're cured!!
I still avoid Wendover as much as possible, also 220.... Much prefer the back roads .... Nicer scenery as well as less traffic, although you do occasionally get behind someone who isn't driving quite as fast you'd like to.... I like finding new and shorter/faster ways to get to places I have to go to a lot... ♥♥♥

Maybe if you post where you need to go Macca, somebody can tell ya how to get there faster!!!
For instance, if you need to go to Garden Ridge (Best Buy or any others on that street) out near Wendover, you take Guilford College Rd. to Hilltop, turn left onto Bridford and right into the Home Depot parking lot. Cut thru the parking lot on the left side of Home Depot and you are at Garden Ridge! (There's a cut through street beside that Shopping center, but the parking lot is faster...) You never have to go near Wendover! It's one of my life's missions to do the Wendover stores without going onto Wendover.

I didn't realize other people did that, too! (Avoid Wendover at all costs!) I didn't know about the cut thru to Garden Ridge, but that's definitely one I'll make note of.... I just pretty much been avoiding that side of Wendover as much as possible! I do always use Guilford College Road to get to Target, Linens & Things, Wal-Mart, etc.....
Good idea about asking the gang for advice on shortcuts! I've learned a couple of good ones to/from Guilford College during rush hour traffic.... ♥♥♥

Yea, it seems that EVERYBODY uses Guilford College to get out to the Wendover shops. EVERYBODY also turns on that road that runs between Macy's and Dick's and the traffic for that turn has been a NIGHTMARE lately. I've found if you go past that road to Hilltop, the traffic isn't as bad. I just do that side of Wendover and then scoot across to the other side if I need to go Walmart or Target or something.
