Once again the Cracker plays catch-up......

Of course they were all perfectly manicured with matching hairbows. FIRST GRADE?????!!!!!????? Please tell me you're making that up!!!!!
NOT making it up. I promise. And they all had the little funky designs on their nails too!
macca wrote: SANDRA SMITH has passed the 400 mark! (Sorry, I don't know any "Sandra" songs, although maybe the Beach Boys had a "Sandy"?????)
Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS, Sandra!! ♥♥♥
Grease. Several Sandra (or Sandy) songs in that movie! Congrats Sandra and Jane!!!
macca wrote: Hey gang! We made JEOPARDY! tonight!!
The category was Shakespeare, but they gave the initials of works by the bard.
There was A.Y.L.I., M.W.O.W., L.L.L., (I can't remember the other one!) and the $1,000 clue was M.A.A.N.!!! -- Of course, I got it, but none of the contestants did!!! ♥♥♥
I SAW IT MACCA!!!! WASN'T THAT THE GREATEST???? BTW.. it was the $2000 clue and I know this only because it catapulted me over the top of Triscuit's score for the evening! I also told himmer that it didn't matter if you knew any of the preceding answers (which I did not) if you could snag the $2000 clue! Woo Hoo! Just like you always say Macca, everybody reads MAAN!
Steve Adkins wrote: Well CJ, did YOUR kid have her nails done..........I mean, does her mother allow her to get her nails done??
NO. Well, let me clarify. Her mother would allow it, but her mother won't PAY for it.
Purposely overlooking SFRD's toejam comment.... YUCK!
macca wrote: I've noticed during the last couple of days that we have an "invisible" member checking us out!!!
Wasn't me. Maybe Pappy could ask the Chicken if himmer knows who the mysterious lurker is!
FatPappy wrote: Sorry you're bored, Macca. Pappy's been out tryin' to find a train with enough ground clearance fer me to jump under.
That's just so FUNNY!!!!!
macca wrote: Tonight, Donald Trump is on the show. When he announced it, Dave said something like, "and at the other end of the spectrum.... tomorrow night we'll have Donald Trump on the show...." Wonder what "the Donald" thought of that!!
I'll tell ya what "the Donald" thought Macca. He thought enough of that hero deed to give the man 10 grand! Woo Hoo!

might as well..... nothing else is going on.....
And everything looks so spiffy in here now! Thanks Macca!!! (Sorta makes me miss Kris though! ) Sorry I wasn't here to play!!!

I reckon that just about catches me up for the time being. Just so you know, I spent a lot of time getting this post all compact and smushed together so it wouldn't look so long, but I'll betcha when I send it it will have spaces from who knows where filling up the page. Sorry if that's the case. Might edit it, might not. Got more reading to do first! Nite all!!!

Tee hee, Pappy! Cedric the Entertainer was on the Letterman show last night after Mr. Autry was. He said he didn't think he could do what Autry did, but he'd volunteer to play him in a movie. Of course, then the conversation turned to the kind of train it would have to be for him to be able to fit under it.... ummmmm, he's kinda ...ummmm... robust, you see....
Like we said, ever'body reads the forum! Cedric, if you're lurkin' on here, you owe me fifty cent fer usin' my ideer. Hee hee!

That's a long drive over yonder to Russia, Mr Jim. But if we don't get any snow here 'fore long, Pappy might put some snow tars on my truck, fix my heater an' head that way.

Gorgeous day out!!!
Already been out and about some.... Enough to see two different sets of parents being bossed around by 2-year-olds! "No Mama" repeatedly and "Thirsty!" when dad takes a drink from a water bottle.... In public places where business is being conducted. Parents ignore, cajole and then take them for a walk.... If young children are going to accompany their parents to public events, they need to be taught how to behave there.... And they definitely need to be PARENTED, not allowed to boss their parents!
What do these parents expect, that suddenly when they reach some magic age they'll be responsible??? If they're bossing parents at 2, what will they be doing at 6? Demanding to have their nails done at the finest salons???

Macca, I have a big ol' Hickory tree out in my backyard and as a good citizens concerned about the youth of tomorrow, I am today offering FREE HICKORY SWITCHES which would be just perfect for the situations you described.
Oh, these switches are not switches for the children (who haven't been taught better).
These SWITCHES are for these PARENTS and their own lack of discipline in not providing proper discipline. They, the parents, are the ones who need a WHUPPING. And as Pappy would say, a good 'un!

What a day! I've been outside looking for sprouting bulbs and watching the pansies grow. A little too cool to rake leaves though.

Morning all. Did anybody see the really red sun rise today? I remembered the old saying "Red in the morning, sailor take warning". Looks like more rain for us.

Missed the sunrise, sounds like it was something else!

Hopefully this is the last week of crutches. I have been a horrible patient but luckily most people heal regardless of what they do. "Tee Hee" to quote Pappy.
