Wonder if she was related to Slim?

I think she was his niece.

I heard her daddy (Slim's brother) showed up at A.B.'s one night in that old beat-up blue pickup he used to drive. Easy was playing the Pearman boys for longneck Buds in a game of pool and was just about to finish them off by picking up that combo shot she was so well known for. Her daddy came bustin through the door and yelled, "Easy (even her daddy called her Easy:shock:), you better git home right now!" (You remember what a temper old man Pickins had, don't you? He was especially nasty after he'd been out at his still, which is now famous and on Stokesdale's town seal). Then he grabbed her by the hair of the head before she even got to finish her pool game and threw her in the truck. Then he went a-flying out of there, burning rubber and slinging gravel all over the place. One piece of gravel even hit Bobby Mack Southern in the head as he was getting out of his 1972 GTO and he's still got a dent (in his head -- he don't have the GTO any more) to this day.

From what I hear, nobody ever saw or heard of Easy Pickins around A.B.'s after that night. I think she just started hanging out down at Poor Boy's in Summerfield after that, but I might have her confused with another girl.  I think her name was Notta Chaste.

Morning All! Boy is the forum slow this morning!! Maybe I will restart my computer and make sure all the thingies are doing what ever it is they are suppose to be doing. It is Friday!! That is a good thing!! A fresh unused week end stretches out before us. Maybe some rain today!! All in all a good day!!

My security rooster is getting stronger and stronger every morning with his crowing. Soon I will not have to worry about the chicks at all with him protecting them.

Everybody have a good day.

All those local candidates filing to run for office yesterday, and yet, the sun still came up this morning and life goes on.

I'll bet the same thing happens the day after the elections.

Except some folks will be disappointed while others revel and all glad to be through with the pain of the ordeal. Especially the poor voters who have to listen to all the political propaganda and then make intelligent decisions.

Isn't democracy grand and politics wonderful. What would we do without either?

Morning All!! It is a wonderful, glorious morning out. Ms Turkey is out strutting on the edge of the field with her one baby. She just drives the dogs crazy. The guineas are out in the back yard make a great deal of noise as they search for bugs. The horses are in the barn looking out to see what is going on. They stay out at night and come in during the day in the summer. And of course the chicks are down doing what chicks are suppose to do except for one. She escaped this morning and is now throwing herself into the fence trying to get back in. I tried to drive her back around and each time she would run in the opposite direction screaming. Mr. Mike I am strongly considering her as a biscuit filler.

All is well. Have a great day!!

Morning All!! It is a beautiful day. Go out and enjoy. Will give you the strength to get through the next dogs days.

Chicks are all present and accounted for. Mr. Mike must have mad a wrong turn. Wonder if my neighbors are missing any chicks?
