macca, I went downtown today looking for a birthday gift for my sister and decided to see if Hutchins was open. It was! Operating hours are noon to 5, Monday - Thursday.

Well, well, well. It appears that the NWO has abandoned its previous position of not endorsing candidates for political office and has thrown their full weight behind a single candidate for the upcoming elections. I'm sure everyone saw the headline posted on the main page of this web site...
Slim Pickin’s for Local Elections So Far
Sunday, July 15th, 2007 by Sandra Smith
Now, I've seen some of his movies, and Slim Pickins seems like a nice enough fella, but I ain't heard nothing of his stance on local issues, volunteer activities, or his service on boards or committees. To be quite honest, I wasn't aware that he'd moved to the area, but there's been a lot of development over the past several years, so he's probably lives in one of the newer subdivisions.
While those at the NWO are perfectly within their right to endorse any candidate that they wish, it would seem to me that they should look more closely at those individuals that have served this community over the years vesus a celebrity. Who's your next pick Sandra? Paris Hilton?

Morning Mr Mike and everybody!! I got busy doing something else and forgot to come see and wake everybody up. My little rooster is learning to crow. They are so funny!! Sounds like he has a bad case of laryngitis. He is practicing to warn the others if any big stange looking wolves in chicken clothes try to sneak in. Especially if they are white headed or have one curly hair sticking up or if they have a biscuit in hand. I have hung a picture in their coop.
Hope everybody has a great day after all it is Thursday!!

Slim Pickins has got a brother (also a actor) named Easy Pickins. I don't recall ever hearin' o' no Easy Whitman, though.

Oh, is Paris running? I really liked Nicole better in "The Simple Life," but since three council seats will be up for election in Oak Ridge, I could vote for both of them and Paris' little dog too (after we took it down to the pet store in Oak Ridge Commons and bought it some spiffy duds appropriate for its office, of course). And since the Oak Ridge Town Hall is so large, the dog could have it's own office.
Actually, I am generally persuaded by the "glitz and glam" vote, so Slim and the other Oak Ridge celebrities Chris Daughtry and Kevin Harvick will be getting my vote!

There once was a cute busty gal who hung around A.B.'s who all the fellers called Easy Pickin's.
Wonder if she was related to Slim?

Jane, Did you post something on Questions/Comments? It looks like you did, according to the date/time, but there is nothing there.... ???
