Baby chicks have been moved to the brooder in the barn where they have much more room. They are growing like weeds. They are so cute. Thanks for asking.

Did anybody watch "Idol" tonight? The boys did a good job.

I watched it Jane!!!  They have improved GREATLY since last week!  That Blake fella who does all of the "Voice entendres" is awesome!

Can't wait to hear LaKeisha tomorrow night!!!!  She'll probably go first since she was the last to perform last week....

Macca, you really need to hear her sing!  Just hit the mute button when Simon starts talkin'! ;)

I watched the first shows last week, but not the second, where they showed who got voted off. Just didn't feel up to it tonight, and then saw that "Doo Wop" was on....

Morning all. It is cold out this morning. The grass is crackly when you walk across it. Suppose to be another really pretty day though. Hope everybody gets a chance to get out in it.

Now, look here,  I'm getting pretty attached to these little chicks.  Don't want to hear that their little adult selves are being served up on the plate

Mornin' all. The grass is crackly and so is the bacon. That's always a good start.

Starcatchr- My chickens die of old age or sometimes get eaten by racoons and snakes but never humans. That is why my chicken house is over run by an assortment of non laying old crotchity hens some probably 8 years old. I have several polish hens who are ancient and actually show signs of alzhiemers. They sit and stare at the wall alot.

I will have chickens to sell in a few months as I bought 25 and only really wanted 7 or 8 so if you want the pleasure of chickens marching around your yard just let me know. It can be arranged.

Are people just lurking this morning or is there a massive PM fest that I am missing out on? It sure is quiet with all you users logged on.

Oh well, I am always the "last to know". haha

Yo, bama. I don't know if it's the calm after the storm, before the storm, or just the eye passin' over. If you see a mushroom cloud or hear a lot o' sirens over our way, you'll know whatever it is didn't work out. Hee hee
