Mebbe I'll send ol' Mr Groundhog a buffler hide so he'll feel less inclined to come out lookin' fer his shadow. Might send him a jug o' "antifreeze" to seal the deal. Hee hee!
Them weather folks is talkin' 'bout precipitaion toward the end o' the week. Might need a little weather dance to get the right kind.

Good morning!!!!!
My it's freeeeezy out there! Wish I'd taken that extra buffler hide with me Pappy. Brrrrrrrrr!
I sure hope we get that big snow ya'll were talkin' about. I been readin' about Anchorage Alaska.... they've been lucky enough to get 74 inches of snow so far this year! The last snowfall covered the tops of their cars! Now that's what I'm talkin' about!!!!!

Aren't ya'll glad that the Lord is in charge of the weather and not we humans? Lord only knows how we would screw it up. Sorta like the government would if they was in charge.

CRACKAH!! I saw yesterday that Denver has received almost 60 inches of snow already this year, and usually get 61 in a season. Based on the average snowfall, they are due for at least 2 more feet!!! The younger maccas want to move there, or maybe Minneapolis, where they have all these great runs for their sleds!!! (We offered to see if we could find them a temporary home there so they could try it out -- without us!!) ♥♥♥3100

This here strange set o' circumstances Pappy done encountered this mawnin' leads me to a hopeful weather conclusion.
Well, sir, Pappy made a quick dash outside this mornin' an' I hadn't gone but a few paces when the steam from my breathin' got so thick, I couldn't see whar I was a-goin'. I tried holdin' my breath to take a bearin', but my teeth was a-chatterin' so hard I couldn't hold my mouth closed. I was about to reverse course an' go back inside, when that there steam cloud froze solid to my face. Pappy's cat-like reflexes instantly compensated fer the extry weight o' the frozen cloud by leanin' back'rds, when 'bout that time a bushel-size chunk o' that ice cloud snapped off, sendin' Pappy's haid flyin' back'rds with my body follerin' a close second an' a-tryin' to pass. As the the backflip I had become involved with reached the nadir of its arc, my hair (singular), which had done been froze solid in the upright position, was drove into the ground by the impact like a ice pick. Fer one hideous millisecond, I thought the ground was gonna split open like a ripe melon an' ol' Pappy would soon be lookin' fer a pay phone in Chiney to call Mammy to come pick me up. As it tarned out, my already rock solid skull hit a piece o' quartz, which caused a spark, which ignited some flammable liquid o' unknown origin that had spilt outta my portable emergency life support container (known to amateurs as a hip flask), which caused a brief but intense explosion, which propelled ol' Pappy feet first outta the frozen tundra an' onto the roof whar I lightly settled an immediately let loose with some hot dance moves, seein' as how my britches was on fire. Moves which, I have to admit, was some o' the best roof-snow dancin' I b'lieve I have ever done.
An' that is what leads me to b'lieve we have as good a chance o' gettin' snow as we ever have.

It was awful blustery today. I guess ol' Pappy's hair (singular) couda caw't one of them wind thermals and sailed him feet first to the ground lik'a his cat. Last edited on Jan 29th, 2007 11:35 pm by Skiddles
