Summerfield Feed Mill is maybe 40-45 years old I think. My husband says it was Straders Saw mill before that.

Any ideas of what writers made the top 10? (Don't mean to confuse anyone with more than 1 quiz!!) ♥♥♥
Ok Macca.... Here's my list

1. Elton John

2. Sir Paul

3. Michael Jackson (:shock::shock::shock:Sorry Pappy)

4. Bono

5. Bob Dylan (don't agree, but you mentioned him so he's on my mind.)

6. That guy who writes for "Five for Fighting"

7. Jon Bon Jovi :D

8. The Boss (Bruce Springsteen)

9. uh.... hmmm... oh! oh! Quincy Jones!

10. and uh.... let's see....some Broadway guy maybe.  Andrew Lloyd Webber??  Was he the one who did Phantom?  I only choose him cause the RENT guy died and can't be on the list.

Now Macca.... I solemnly(sp?) swear that I did not use google to come up with that perfect list of the top 10 living songwriters.  :D

Now see Jane???  That would have made an excellent question!!!  What business was originally called Strader's Saw Mill?  You'd be GREAT at this!

Here is an article from RoadRunner online news........gotta give them credit for thinking outside the box to avoid taxation.

CHAUNCEY, Ohio(AP) A citizens' group is trying to pay the street light bill with a little potty humor.

The Chauncey Emergency Management Group places an old-fashioned, wooden outhouse on a resident's lawn with a donation box where the toilet bowl should be and a sign on the door that says "Redneck Wishing Well."

People who find the latrine in their yard have to chip in to get it shipped out. They also get to pick the next home it graces.

The emergency management group's Jerry Dowler, whose phone number is posted inside the outhouse, hauls the privy in his pickup truck.

The money _ donations of any size are acceptable _ helps cover the southeast Ohio village's $500-a-month bill for street lights. Voters defeated a tax levy last year, and a committee that gets money from local cable TV bingo has paid the bill since then.

In its first two days, the outhouse collected $200, Dowler said. The primary purpose of the emergency management group, which is made up of village officials and citizens, is to keep the lights on.

The emergency management group takes over the bill this month, and the levy is on the ballot again in the fall. If passed, enough money to pay the bill would not be generated for about a year, Mayor Fredricka Shover said.

In the meantime, the group has raised about $3,000 through bake sales, car washes and the outhouse.

Ok Macca.... 20 questions( It'll take me at least that long to figure it out.....) Instead of Animal Vegetable or Mineral, I'll ask if it's in Stokesdale, Summerfield or The Ridge.....

Question #2... couldn't wait for the answer to that last one...

OK, Crackah! With Jane's help, you know that it's not the Summerfield Feed Mill. ♥♥♥
