Oh Boy! I just checked out the CC's great website. HA HA It's a joke of a website. Ol Duncan and Sue really make Mom proud with that one. Check out Get Involved it has no info.

I checked it out, too. You'd think they'd either abandon it or update it. Maybe they know no one visits it.... I guess we shouldn't encourage them even by checking it out -- that's two more hits we gave 'em!

As impossible as it was fer them to find good candidates, it's probably just as impossible fer them to find VOLUNTEERS to he'p 'em out.

You might be right about encouragin' 'em, Macca, except I don't think it matters. They don't listen to the people one way or another anyway. I'm not sure they even listen to each other anymore. Their functionality is seriously in question.

I haven't checked the cc website out in a while. Did they ever update the Town Council names? Last time I looked it was preNovember information and they had never bothered to update.

They have updated the Town Council Members Jane.

Baseball Buddy noticed the same thing I did... That  dead  "Get Involved" link ....

That just proves that they are "ANTI-volunteer!"

Macca..... ME? WEALTHY?  Do you know something I don't???

I don't have a pool... unless it rains real hard and I count that puddle in the driveway.  Even then I have to fight that Kamikaze Robin for a dip!

I do however have a friend who has one of those "redneck swimming pools"  It's so fun!

After I posted about the Kamikaze Robin, I realized that I haven't given a Rogue Robin update lately..... He's STILL pecking at my windows!  Been at it since the end of April and going strong!  He used to just tap at the kitchen window, but he's "spread his wings" and ALL windows in the entire house are his territory now.  Sometimes he doesn't even peck... He just flings his body, tummy first, into the window.

He redeemed himself the other day when I finally found his nest and saw him bringing food to his little "wife-bird" who then promptly regurgitated (sp?) it to feed the babies.....Or maybe it was just a bad worm.....

Whoa, CRACKAH! How lucky you are! Your very own attack robin! Is he a guard-bird, or just a yardbird??:D Shows off his belly, huh? I won't make any comments about that bein' a male thing or anything, so don't worry! At least it sounds as though he's a good provider!♥♥♥

Just cruisin' the net while kind of watching a "Grey's Anatomy" rerun -- the one with the pregnant man and the woman whose heart caught on fire.... They're starting with the first episode on Thursday and running the series from then on. Looking forward to it, since I didn't watch from the beginning.♥♥♥

We are trying to arrange a trip out there next summer ourselves.    We are either starting at the Canyon and traveling to Vega$ or vice versa... haven't decided.   I think it'll be best to end up in Vega$ or I might not be able to afford transportation to the Canyon!

Crackah! I've been reading about the Cirque du Soleil tribute to the Beatles -- "Love." They previewed it all during June to get audience reaction, then had the official premiere this weekend. Sir Paul ♥♥♥, Ringo, Yoko Ono, Cynthia Lennon, Julian Lennon, Olivia Harrison, et al, were there -- and evidently it's a big hit! Maybe I'll have to make a trip to Vegas just to catch this show!!!♥♥♥

The TV Guide Channel is doing a feature on Dead Man's Chest. Backstage stuff, talking with the stars about their characters, etc. Have already seen Johnny, but I'm sure they'll feature him some more! Yummm! Watched Benny and Joon again earlier today.♥♥♥

Gosh Macca..... I'll watch almost ANYTHING these days! Even cable TV stinks! I've even resorted to watching Crab Fishing for goodness sakes!

Triscuit bought the 1st season of Gray's, so I doubt I'll watch that .... but we can still talk about it cause I've seen them all.

We've been watching H*LL's Kitchen which we just found one night cause we were bored.  That chef is a leetle bit intense for me....and since I'm not real good at reading lips, I miss a lot because of all the bleeping that goes on during that show.

Of course I'll be watching Big Brother when it finally premieres because it's reality TV and we all know how I feel about Reality TV! :D

Been on CBS.com  voting for Howie to come back.  They are doing the All Stars which just means they are bringing back folks from old shows.  Howie was our all time favorite cause he truly thinks he's a Jedi warrior.  If he gets voted back on the show, it'll be worth watching!
