Ok You can throw me off this thread but Ithink Grays has gotten way too silly. I watched the first hour and then switched to ER to see the wedding. I think Gray has diluted the cast and the story line is largely silly. It is much too like daytime soaps which have really gotten silly. After all I watch educational things like Survivor and Desperate Housewives.

Hee hee, Jane!! I think you make some good points! Especially when compared to such high-brow educational shows such as Survivor (you never know when you might need to use that immunity) and Desperate Housewives (where you can learn such tricks as locking people in various parts of your house, or if that fails, stuff 'em in your freezer!!) :D:shock::D

Speakin' o' silly, Pappy an' 4 or 5 young'uns went to see Spiderman 3. It was aw'ight. That 70's Show kid an' Lyle from George o' the Jungle just didn't make very believable villains to me. I was more scared o' the baby in the next row. I thought he was gonna come up outta that seat an' slap his momma an' go on a rampage if he didn't get whatever it was he wanted. Bruce Campbell, by the way, is a seriously underrated actor.

Hollywood's biggest superhero now has the biggest box-office debut.

"Spider-Man 3" took in a record $59 million domestically on opening day Friday, breaking the previous all-time high of $55.8 million for "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" in its first day last summer.

Dang! But I guess it's just a record until May 25, when PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: AT WORLD'S END has its first day!! Oh, Johnny!!! ♥♥♥

Pappy's gonna look fer 1776 at Edward McKay's, ff. Don't tell me how it ends!

Macca, I saw the preview fer Pirates. Looks like a good'n! That's a much more interestin' series than Spidey, in my humble opinion.

I'm also waitin' fer the final Harry Potter book. That young'un gets in more trouble than young Pappy did. The only magic I had to get me outta trouble was a pair o' Keds. 'Course, just like Harry an' magic, them Keds is likely what led young Pappy into trouble in the first place. D'oh!

Spidey Shatters Records With $148M

Spider-Man caught just about everyone in his web. The superhero's latest adventure, "Spider-Man 3," smashed box-office records with $148 million in its first three days, according to studio estimates Sunday.

That put it ahead of the previous record debut of $135.6 million set last summer by "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest."

With $59.3 million on opening day Friday, Sony's "Spider-Man 3" broke the single-day box-office record, also held by "Dead Man's Chest" with $55.8 million in its first day.

Wow!!

Well, at least you've got 2 of the top 3 still left... I think Jordin will end up being the winner.... They're all good at this point, but I think she has the most talent.

Well, it is good bye Lakissha, as she is the latest to get the boot. I hope Simon will not miss those luscious lips, now that America has sent her packin'. I personally didn't like any one particular Idol trying to sing The Bee Gees, even though Jordan probably sang the one song (her first, can't remember the name of it ) the best of all remaining contestants. Just wasn't a good dose of culture for me Tuesday night---it was very painful to listen to.  I hate to say it, but it will be Blake next week getting the ticket home, your final two will be Doolittle and Sparky.

I agree Grits.  The idol contestants didn't do well on the Bee Gees songs at all! In fact, Barry Gibb singing the Bee Gees songs was even worse!:?

Lakeshia hooked me in the beginning of the season with that song from Dreamgirls, but she wasn't as strong after that in my opinion.  Melinda's good, but I'd get tired of her I think. I agree that Jordin should win it.

If Blake has an incredible week next week though, those teenage girls could keep him in it.....

Shoot!  I missed it!:X

I always intend to DVR Oprah cause I always hear about good stuff on that show.  When I do finally get to watch it, she's talkin' about somethin' dumb. :?  I would have liked to see what that Blue Man Group had to say for themselves..... Do they talk?

Watched Grays.  Still disappointed about the Fake Mother kickin' the bucket. Now McDreamy's gone all weird, but who could blame him... Meredith's nutso.

One step closer to the Beatles on iTunes. McCartney solo album available in June.

"Today, Parlophone records announced that his (McCartney's) entire solo output, from 1970’s McCartney to 2005’s Chaos And Creation In The Backyard, plus everything by Wings, will be put on line “shortly”. On top of that, he also releases a brand new solo album, Memory Almost Full, next month."

Also coming soon, Pappy's solo album, "Somethin' Bit Me!", featurin' a updated version o' the 1812 Overture--the 1860 Remington New Model Army Revolver Overture. Also featurin' the hit single "Either That's a Mirage or I'm Seein' Thangs."
