YES!!!!
YAY! Sanjaya is gone!!!! I don't think we've heard the last of him though.... I mean, that William Huang fella got a Record deal....
I felt sorry for Sanjaya. I hate that the "crying girls" of America drug it out so long. I know they thought they were doing him a favor, but I think it made it harder for him to go.
Boy, I'd have been M-A-D if it had been Blake or Lakeshia!

I'm with you, Crackah! He had already outlasted others with more talent.... It would've been absolutely inexcusable for him to beat out ANY of the remaining talent!

American Idol Producer Suggests Paul McCartney Won’t Do Idol Because Of Simon Cowell
Before this season of American Idol even started airing, rumors were circulating in the media that Paul McCartney would be a guest star on American Idol 6. However, American Idol producer Ken Warwick eventually denied that Paul McCartney would appear on the show.
In a recent conference call with media, Warwick elaborated on exactly why Paul McCartney will not appear on American Idol. Warwick explained “I’d love to have Paul McCartney as a mentor, yes, absolutely. The problem is I think he early on, I think in the English show, and I don’t know whether this is true or not. This is what I’ve heard, he kind of took exception to Simon’s acid comments about the contestants. You know he’s a nice guy and he didn’t like Simon saying ‘You’re horrible. You’re the worst I’ve ever heard. You shouldn’t be singing,’ or whatever he says. And so the chances of Paul coming on the show were pretty slim.”
What have I been saying? GMTA!!! Another reason I think Sir Paul is so terrrific!!! ♥♥♥
There were some comments on a blog about this story suggesting that maybe Paul would do it if Simon agreed to be nice all night, but no one thought Simon could do that, or if he did that he might become physically ill!!

Mills Entertains Flight Passengers(!?!?)
Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills was reportedly embarrassed on her transatlantic flight earlier this week (17Apr07) when her mile-high dancing skills failed to impress passengers.
Fresh from appearing on "Dancing With The Stars" on Monday night (16Apr07), Mills and her dancing partner Jonathan Roberts boarded a flight from Los Angeles to London, so Mills could spend time with her daughter Beatrice.
British newspaper The Sun claims Mills was asked by cameras for ABC - who were also onboard the flight - to show off a few moves. The Virgin Airlines pilot announced over the tannoy that Mills would be performing - but only one passenger clapped at the end of her mini-show. A passenger says, "It was totally embarrassing for everyone concerned and all a bit shambolic." A spokesperson for Virgin adds, "It was not our captain's idea."

Two more singers dropped from "American Idol"
Finalists Phil Stacey and Chris Richardson were sent packing from "American Idol" on Wednesday in a double-elimination episode of the hit television talent show, leaving only one male singer among the four contenders fighting it out to win the series' sixth season.
After last week's charity fund-raiser ended with no one being cut, Stacey, 29, and Richardson, 22, came up short after fans cast more than 135 million votes for their favorites.
Stacey, from Jacksonville, Florida, was eliminated during the live broadcast despite delivering what judge Paula Abdul said was the show's best opening all season. He sang "Blaze of Glory" on the rock-themed edition, mentored by Jon Bon Jovi, while Richardson, of Chesapeake, Virginia, performed "Wanted Dead or Alive."
The results left Blake Lewis as the last remaining male singer, going up against Jordin Sparks, LaKisha Jones and Melinda Doolittle for the big prize.
Lewis won praise from the judges, including prickly Simon Cowell who gave him top marks for taking a risk with his rendition of "You Give Love A Bad Name."
Just before the elimination, Lewis said he and Richardson were "going on tour together" regardless of which one lost out.
"American Idol" has become such a phenomenon that even singers eliminated before the final show, such as recent Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, have made inroads in the entertainment world.
The finale will air live on May 23.
Well, Crackah!! Now it gets down to all the good ones!! Boy, it's going to be hard to see any of these, especially the women, go!

First of all Macca, I never much cared for Addison when she was at Seattle Grace, so I doubt I'll add her new show to my DVR list.... I guess it depends on the premise and other actors though.....
Now to the Idol...
I think the right ones went home last night. We're left with the best four and it certainly will be hard to watch them be picked off one by one......
After Blake's rendition of "You Give Love a Bad Name" my kids are 100% pullin' for him. I thought it rocked too!
I don't want to choose just one to win, so I'll keep quiet.
I did finally see Jennifer Hudson in Dreamgirls and I have chills just typalking about it! That girl really SANG that song! WOW!

Pappy... skip this post. I'm too tired to type in the GRAY codes tonight.
Macca, I saw your post over on MAAN. Don't worry, I'll watch it once and let you know if it's worth keeping up with. Tim Daly will have to be great if I'm gonna add another show to my list!
I can't believe the fake mother died. That shocked me. I was lookin' forward to Meredith having a mother. Finally.

I agree wholeheartedly -- Didn't see that one coming at all! When I saw the previews with Meredith getting slapped, I didn't see who was slapping her.... So now, do Meredith and her dad get closer, or does this separate them again?
What did Callie say to Izzy tonight? I know last week she asked her to stay away from George, but did she say anything to her tonight? I know when they were trying on bridesmaids' dresses Callie told her she wanted to see her, but I don't remember seeing them actually talking....
What's up with these women wanting men they can't have and taking for granted the ones they do have? Why didn't Izzy fall for George when he was available? What's up with Meredith? Now Addison?
AND NOW FOR THE REAL QUESTION -- Could this be called Cone's Anatomy? or Wesley's Woe's? High Point's Highs (and Lows)?
