Sounds good, Crackah! Pappy an' Mammy an' what musta been 15 er 20 young'uns, mebbe 35 er 40 young'uns, rode aroun' an' looked at some lights. Mighta been 65 er 70 young'uns, couldn't tell. Pappy lost count an' had to estimate. Had to strap a few on the roof. Anyway, all them purty lights makes Pappy's place look like a black hole in the Christmas light universe.
Ahh, but thar's always next weekend!
OK, Duke Power...y'all better throw another load a coal on the far an' get a good head o' steam goin. Thar's liable to be a drain on the grid comin' up. Ya been warned. Hee hee!

I don't know LottieDottie Steve. At least, I don't know that I know LottieDottie. I've been known to welcome one or two that I don't know though...... 
Lottie Dottie, don't be intimidated here for heaven's sake. MAAN's the best place to practice and learn how things are done here. Any questions, we'll be happy to answer them for ya.
Also, we don't pay any attention to spell checkin' ..... Well, unless we just can't plain figure out what you're tryin' to say!

Woo hoo! Sounds like folks have been gettin' in the spirit!! (Ummmm.... I MEAN the HOLIDAY spirit, Pappy!!)
We ended up traveling more than we thought we would and didn't get back till tonight!! Missed the OR and Stokesdale tree lightings!! 
Glad some of the rest of you were able to make it to them, though!!
Also sounds like we need to make plans to go on out and look at some pretty lights!! We saw a few as we were on our way home tonight!!
I guess we also need to make plans to get our place decorated!! 
Has anyone been to Tanglewood this year??? ♥♥♥

Welcome LottieDottie! Pappy's a little slow in cold weather. Warm weather, too. Wet weather sets me back some. Also dry weather, windy weather or when it ain't windy. Ain't too happy about earthquakes er tornadies neither, but I'll ride either one of 'em out if I can find my lassoo an' the weather's nice.

Welcome Lottie Dottie!
As one of the newest initiates to this Forum myself, rest assured there is no need to tiptoe into the MAAN waters. It works best to dive in head first and not worry about any rocks beneath the surface. We all bump our heads from time to time, but Dr. Pappy is always nearby with some of his pain killer in a jug for when that happens.

Only if you partake of the bacon first.
To do otherwise, the bacon would spoil before you ever woke up. (In some countries, Pappy's eggnog requires a prescription before a dose can be dispensed)

Great Job on all those lights Jim! I pulled in at the end of your driveway and sat there just lookin' at 'em!
Thanks for the compliments Crackah. The lights are a 'work in progress' so make sure'n check back about this coming weekend when I gits the rest of them up.
You should have come on up the driveway and said Hello (I was out there putting up more lights 'bout then)
I'm goin' hafta talk Pappy outta a few jugs of his eggnog to serve my HollyDays guests.
