Sounds like all will be busy today.    I'll also be out & about today, so Monty is in charge.  Another example of leaving the fox in charge of the henhouse.

I know the Stokesdale Tree Lighting is at 5:30 today.

Could someone tell me where exactly this event will take place? And if it's not on 158, then I'm gonna be needin' good directions!

Think I'll see about puttin' up my tree today. Yay!

Crackah, the Stokesdale Tree Lighting ('the other one') is at the Stokesdale Fire Department which is on Main Street (Highway 158) between the stoplight at the Bi-Rite (158 & 65 Intersection) and the Highway 68/158 Intersection.

The ('REAL one') tree lighting in Stokesdale is up at my farm on Highway 68 between Stokesdale and Dawn Acres Golf Course (on the right side of 68 headed toward Oak Ridge). One mile south of the 158/68 Intersection. Enjoy!

Morining all!! The holiday has finally wound down. Last family just left. The cats say hurrah!!! Spent yesterday at Lowes Motor speedway while husdand drove a race car. It was his birthday present and he wanted to do it when all the kidswould be able to go. Pretty impressive facility. Certainly glad I was not there when the other 100,000 people were there for a race. The traffice going and coming was awful. Feel sorry for my son driving back to Ohio today.

Now its time to get ready for Christmas.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Went to the Stokesdale Tree lighting tonight.  What fun!  They had the fire station decorated up so pretty and guess who was there!!!! Mr. Ho Ho Ho himself!!!!!!  The women from the methodist church played the hand bells and boy were they great!  Thanks Stokesdale for a really good time!
THEN.... on the way home, I rode up 68 and lo and behold it looked like the whole countryside was lit up!  There was a big beautiful tree made of red and white lights and countless smaller trees all lit up and lookin' flashy! I'll bet Santy Claus doesn't have any trouble findin' Mr. Jim Flynt's house!!!!
Great Job on all those lights Jim!  I pulled in at the end of your driveway and sat there just lookin' at 'em! :D
