Close Steve-O!
I know it was that word, "turbulence" that triggered the Fed-Ex dream! Now I'm wonderin' if that should be spelled with an "a". Too lazy to look it up. Last edited on Nov 18th, 2006 02:28 am by Cracker Jax

But Sir Pappy, will RISE TO THE CHALLENGE, reassemble his armor (which is blowin' all over the freakin' road), run across Federal Property sending all the TSA dudes runnin', courageously mounts his steed, and aims for the next.........................heck, I can't think of anymore

I welcomed PSCone (#1 out of dozens of the BCC'd) over there on the SFTC forum Jane... thanks for the "heads up"!!!
All this "knight" talk reminded me of some trivia I read somewhere....
A common error in modern films. The knights, as did all of Europe at the time, rode on the left side of the road. Thus giving the advantage of putting your sword and lance arm in the direct path of your oncoming adversary. In all of the jousts the knights approach on the right side of the road, a custom not adopted until Napoleon enforced the new law in the early 1800s. The UK still drives on the left, carrying on the tradition. This also is the tradition of saluting; a knight would raise his visor with his right hand to show the oncoming knight who he was and that his sword arm was empty.
All interesting stuff but I'm really just going for the bread bowls.

No need to delete anything macca.... LANCE it is!
Yea.... I had this wonderful vision of Pappy as our "Knight in Shining Armour" until SMS came along and crashed him into a Fed Ex plane.... Then all I saw was Chicken feathers flyin'!

Not even one full page has gone by, and already the story is getting distorted. Geez.........what is the mattah with youz people !!!!!
Pappy did not crash into a Fedex plane, he bravely walked behind it, in search of the moonshine still what used to be there, but couldn't find it anymore since the whole cotton pickin' area got rearranged. Like..........there used to be an abandoned house next to the air traffic control radar whirligig gizmo which was hidden from civilization, now the house is gone and the gizmo is exposed to the world. But Hark......where did the still go?????
And it's not turbulance, or turbulence, when a plane is taking off, it's thrust. Like............Sir Pappy walked behind the Fedex Plane, and got thrust thru the air.
As you can all see, I better not quit my day job. Real writers don't seem to have to explain all this stuff.
