We had 9,832 hits during August! We averaged just over 317 hits/day.♥♥♥
Thru July, we'd had 72,077, which means we averaged 9,009 for the first 8 months. ♥♥♥
Thru August, we've averaged 9,101 hits/month. If we average this for September and October, we will hit 100,000 hits by Halloween. Our initial goal had been to hit it by Dec. 2, which is the birthday of MAAN. The NW Observer forum first hit the scene in October 2005.♥♥♥
This means we need to average just under 300 hits/day.... piece o'cake!♥♥♥

Good morning Macca and any other friends who happen to float thru the playground today!!!
Boy the forum is runnin' slow as molasses this morning!!!! Like swimming upstream just to get a post out there.....
Tried out some new colors in honor of the day....
This one is "rain"...appropriate  .
This one is "where's the sun".
This one is Ernesto.
This one is "ain't no sunshine".
This one is "Tropical storm".... hmmm very close to kudzu!!!
And this one is "fortydaysandfortynights". I believe I'd just type "red" for that one... .

It would surprise me if someone said that they didn't remember exactly where they were when they heard about the events that transpired on 9-11, just as it would surprise me if someone said they don't remember where they were when they heard Kennedy was shot, Elvis died, or the Challenger exploded. It amazes me how certain events stick with us like that in such detail.
I know the Challenger crack was intended to make me feel quilty Crackah!! You just never forget do ya.

Hi All,
Is everyone wet enough? Took the dogs out and we all look like drowned rats. We have 2 house dogs, they are both australian shepherd mixes and they have lots of fur, now they look like 2 orphan street dogs!

Lacka- There must be a story about the Challenger. Fess up!!! You are showing your age though when you start talking about Kennedy.
I had to leave early this morning to be in Winston and about 7:10 just breezed through Summerfield. The new light is wonderful. We need to thank Mark Brown for one who just kept pushing and pushing for that light. It is ugly but boy does it make things nice on a school morning.

The incident to which you are referring.... the one where you told your boss that you were at home sick when in fact you were in Florida anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Space Shuttle with the Little Lackas and your mobile rang while you were standing out on the tarmack and it was me calling you to tell you that the shuttle wouldn't be coming (cause my middle name is CNN you know ) and that you'd better be HIDING from the CNN cameras cause your boss was gonna see you on TV and you'd be busted for lying (the one and only time you ever lied and it had to be a national news story.... )... was in fact the explosion of the COLUMBIA space shuttle and not the CHALLENGER which I believe exploded in January of 1986.
I could have used the explosion of the Columbia as an example in my 9/11 post cause I remember clearly that I was on the phone to you at the time.... but I chose not to do so because I did not want to make you feel guilt for being a LIE LIP LACKA!

| Just heard about a bad single car accident on Ellisboro Road near Carolina Marina. The driver of the truck is in serious condition and has been air-lifted to Baptist Hospital. Hope all our forum friends are okay!!!♥♥♥
