Might be able to raft in our own back yards this afternoon. Stay safe all as you go out and about.

Mr. Mike where are the biscuits this morning and the bacon? Did Pappy over sleep and not get the fire going?

Hold on, Mr Mike, I'll clear these kudzu dreadlocks out the chimbly an' get us a far goin' fer a decent breakfast.

Didn't see much storm damage yestiddy, but there was some traffic lights out. You really see what some people are made of in them situations. Not only do the traffic laws go out the winder, but the basic laws o' common decency with 'em.

Cracker Jax, We had something happen recently that reminded me of you. We had an orange kitten and some friends asked if they could have it. They knew someone moving here who wanted just such a kitten for their little girl. They had already picked its name -- Cheez Nip!:D

Pappy, here's the problem with the ark building: In order to build an ark I would need to gather up some wooden planks. Wooden planks come from trees. More appropriately, that would mean cutting trees (not good for the hearts of us tree lovers). So I can't be Mr Appleseed if I have to be Paul Bunyan first now can I?

Suffice it to say that I love this badly needed rain and am surely enjoying the thought that no trees will need watering by human hands for the next week or so at least.

The Lord is doing the watering for us now, and for that, we should all be most grateful. He knows better than we. And my prayers were answered.
