Mawnin' ever'body!
Howdy, Macca! Thanks fer checkin' up on ol' Pappy. (I ain't deef, ya know!) Hee hee!
Pappy went to my nappin' room yesterday, or "office" as some city folks call it, an' some actual work accidentally broke out! It was a traumatic experience. Pappy's gotta do somethin' about office border security, so this sort o' tragedy never happens again. I'm holdin' up as best I can, but the horror...the horror!
Lookin' forward to Summerfield Founder's Day! I always thought we should call it Father's Day, owin' to the fact that we were'nt just found, we had a father! Hee hee!
Uh, oh! More work tryin' to sneak in...

Good Mornin!
Sorry I was scarce yesterday. I wasn't in my hammock or anything....I've got a terribly busy week going on here and then to top it off a semi-sick kid was thrown into the mix so I spent the afternoon waiting to see a Dr. She's ok... We thought it was a bladder infection but $$Texas later we found out it's nothing.
YAY HIPPIES! 
Sorry to see L-E-OT go home. Definitely think Katherine should have gotten the boot.
Looks like the Soul Patrol's got this win in the bag! 
I will be expecting support when I go through my reality tv withdrawals week after next. I don't know if I can hang in there until Big Brother starts this summer......It'll be tough.

I had a little gum surgery this morning so I can't typalk too much. Just wanted to say howdy!
I'll ask Ponder about the chateau Pappy.... Hope he leaves that pole at home though.

| CJ It was fabulous today!! Talked to lots and lots of people about the park. Angie Cook and Paul Weiss helped dozens of children plant flowers which they can bring back and plant in the planter in the play area when the sprout. The weather was wonderful after an iffy start and the parade..... Well what can you say about the biggest parade in Guilford County. What a party today was!!!

Got a great Founder's Day story. Well not a true Lacka spin or anything, but something kinda funny. So Miss North Carolina was there.
OMG she is the sweetest. She met the littlest Lacka ( age 9 male, yes he was in love) They bonded. She was such the meet and greet kinda person and was so nice to everyone there. Like I said they just bonded.
She asked the littlest Lacka to take her on one of the rides that they had there, he looked at her wide eyed, dreamy, honey you could see the stars floating over his head, and said sure.....uh yeah, I will take you.....He pulls me to the side and whispers, " uh, mom I don't have enough money to pay for her ticket" You could tell that he was worried that he couldn't pay for his date to ride the spinning strawberries. It was so sweet. I slipped him a couple of bucks and he was so proud that he could pay her way!!! As they walked away they held hand, she was 9 ft tall and he is 2 ft tall. It was a Kodak moment if I have ever seen one.......Priceless.
