Well, Crackah, did you make it back from the beach? Pappy thought he saw you a little bit ago. It's plumb quiet aroun' here. Ever'body must be hangin' out with the Oak Ridgers.
I reckon with them oceans a-risin' on account o' global warmin', Pappy might just wait it out an' eventually have hisse'f a beach front house right here.

I wish I could travel back in time, say, 20-30 years ago, and grab most of Corova (next to Corolla) for myself. I'd buy some land in Harkers Island, now, but my wife informs me she does NOT like iced tea that smells like shrimp. 
We went to the NC zoo, today, in the 90-derned degree weather... then came back to check on our new addition - one of our pygmy goats had a baby, the other day... now we have 6.
They started putting down hardwood floors in the new house, today!

Congratulations on the new addition to the fambly, Aeolius! Glad to hear things are goin' good fer you.
Pappy's been able to travel through time fer many years now, but I can only go one way. If'n you figger out how to go back t'other way, save me a seat! Hee hee!

I'm back Pappy. What a trip. Both the Spoose and I were slammed with the flu and spent the ENTIRE trip in the bed. Never saw the ocean. Kids had a grand time though.
Still feeling poorly today so we went to see the Dr. Both of us have pneumonia and Strep. No wonder we feel so bad.
Hopefully I'll feel more like typalking tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that, Crackah! That's the worst thing I've heard lately. Y'all take it easy an' get to feelin' better.
Pappy's gotta go check my notes. Poor ol' wepete needs my he'p rememberin' some things an' I'm ponderin' a proper response. But right now, I gots some bidness to transact.
